I am the Coupon Queen!

I have had an overwhelming response lately of people asking me how I coupon…so I decided to write it all out. Obviously if you don’t have the grocery stores I do, you are going to look up the ones you have 🙂 Happy couponing!!

I get 4-6 papers on Sundays. Those are the best coupons, and I get the Tampa Tribune since it’s only 50cents vs. $1 for St. Pete Times..I do try to go get the papers Sun night though and I go to a machine and usually just grab the last of the papers…that way I don’t feel like I am stealing them since they will end up recycled anyways. That way you only have to pay 50 cents, maybe twice to get that many papers. I also go to company websites and compliment their products, or complain if need be. Companies send out GREAT coupons. I contacted pampers and huggies while I was pregnant and we never once payed full price for diapers.
Then what you need to do is go to hotcouponworld.com, go to the forums, and then grocery stores…there you can go to Publix, Winn Dixie and someone will post the ad about 3-4 days before the ad is out matched with coupons to tell you what deals are good. Also backtracking when you get your Sunday coupons, make sure you write on the front page of the coupons what date you got them, then keep them in a huge according file..don’t clip them until you need a certain coupon…it’s MUCH easier! Also go to vocalpoint.com and sign up for coupons, also Procter & Gamble, along with Pampers, Huggies, formula companies, Gerber, SC Johnson…I can’t think of any others right now. If anything you ever buy isn’t as “good” as it always is don’t be afraid to complain…they will more than likely send you a coupon for a free product or a refund check.
Another thing, on iheartcvs.com is a good one for coupons and ad match ups. Sign up for a cvs card if you dont already have one. When you go in the store scan it at the coupon scanner and you will usually get an amount off a certain amount spent, for example $4 off a $20 purchase..if you buy certain items you will get Extra Care Bucks or ECB’s, you can roll these from transaction to transaction. Meaning, for example you buy 5 Dove Shampoos for $4 a piece and CVS’ deal that week is $10 ECB on a $20 dove purchase and you already have $5 ECB you can spend them on the total and you will still get the $10 ECB back. You can also use coupons for the products.
When you start couponing things that you should NEVER have to pay for are: Shampoo/Conditioner, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Razors, Deodorant, and just pennies for cleaning products.

Also for coupons I get that come in the mail I always keep an envelope in my purse with these in it. You never know when you might come across something on clearance or sale that you weren’t expecting to run into.
Always check out the clearance sections at Target, Publix, CVS, and Walgreens.

If you have any more questions feel free to ask!!!
