I Love Couponing!!

Today I left the house with $40…I was going to pick up some cream cheese for a super yummy recipe I made for dinner tonight…and well, I ended up buying a whole lot more. I always carry my coupons with me and always look for good deals while at Publix. I came across Kraft Shredded Cheese, the 8oz bags were on sale 3 for $5, and right in front of them were two coupons machines for $2 off 2 bags! That made them only $.67 a bag!!! I have made 2 trips to Publix already and now have 28 bags of all kinds of shredded cheese in my fridge. They don’t expire until Aug and we eat at least 2-3 bags a week. Hubby and I are going after he gets home to go get more!
On top of that I also got 6 Gerber Graduate meals for only $1.10 after coupons, Egg Noodles for 75 cents a bag, Deli Creations Sandwiches for $1.25 each (and these are REALLY good), Apple juice for $1.30, Arm & Hammer toothpaste for 25 cents each (never tried this kind, but it was cheap!), 2 packages of Ritz Garlic and Herb crackerfuls for $1 a box..plus more. Needless to say I spent a total of $50 today with a savings of $120. It’s soooooo exciting 🙂 You know you’re a mom when you get excited about saving this much money on groceries!
