My husband and I started dating. We were inseparable. We were always at the beach, going to the mall, playing soccer at the field, going swimming, going to different parks, going mudding….and then he went away to college, 500 miles away. We stayed together for 2 years and then the long distance relationship became too much, needless to say he ripped my heart out and stomped on it with the news of us breaking up. We then went our own way, we had other relationships, encountered other adventures, among other things. Then one day October 2005 I received a myspace message from him, he created an account specifically to find and email me. He told me that the biggest mistake he ever made was letting me go and that he had always thought about me and had never stopped loving me. Needless to say, from that day forward we have been back together, and going strong. Of course our relationship has had it’s ups and downs, everyones does…but we are one of a kind, we are always there for one another, we are always there to listen, to guide one another, to support, to trust, and most importantly to love.
We became engaged November 2006 and finally got married February 2008. We found out February 6, 2008 we were expecting a surprise and we tied the knot February 15, 2008.
I can’t believe 11 years ago today we started dating….it sure has been a crazy ride, but it’s our life, and I wouldn’t change it for anything.
