Can You Meet Me Half Way?

Meet me halfway, right at the borderline. That’s where I’m gonna wait for you….Oh how do I love me some Black Eyed Peas, and that song is exactly how I feel tonight. When is it time to just give up? I feel like I am always at the borderline and I don’t get anything back. I haven’t had a day with my “BFF” since before Christmas. She always makes plans to hang out with me, but then when that day comes she never calls, she never answers, nothing. It’s to the point now where I don’t even know why I let it bother me, it’s nothing new. It’s now the middle of May, five whole months of making plans and cancelling over and over again. When we do hang out I am the one always driving to her house, which is 45 minutes away. I just feel like I am doing my half, but am not being met in the middle. When is enough enough? I am sure I am not alone here…

  1. I’m sorry she is being that way to you. I know all friendships go through phases but that is bologna for her to keep doing that for five months. It sounds like your “friendship” is at a turning point.
