Mom’s Night Out

In June my daughter and I joined a wonderful play group when we moved from FL to MS. We have a lot of great friends and always do a lot of fun things. Last month the mom’s got all dressed up and we went out for sushi, and this month we went to a local deli for dinner and then a painting class. The class is for anyone who wants to go and they have a different painting every night. It’s less than $30 and you get the canvas, and all supplies to use,  plus you can bring your own wine, beer, snacks, etc. You have to sign up about a month in advance though because all the classes get sold out quickly! I have to say this is one of the most fun things I have ever done. Although it was very stressful, I can barely draw a stick figure, so this was a masterpiece for me! Next time I’m bring a bottle of my favorite wine, Moscato D’Asti just so I can relax a bit! We got a picture of us, myself (on the left), Jamie (middle), and Irina (right). (Irina’s is perfect, so we told her she couldn’t go next time!)
