Mantel Decorating

I recently got super bored with just the black picture frames on my mantel, so I bought a few things and decorated it different. I’m happy with it now, and it was super cheap. I’m sure I will change it around a few more times in the coming months. I don’t know what happened to my before picture, but just imagine, plain black frames on it.
Here is the after picture:

The frame on the left I received as a wedding present, I love the detail of it, so I decided to put it up there, plus it hides the electrical outlet on that side.
The letter B is for our last name, it’s made out of MDF and I painted it brown and added a brown and aqua ribbon. Total cost $.65.
Small barn star was $.79 after the 4th of July. It was originally red, white, and blue..you can see the transformation here.
The wooden “Family” was on clearance at Ross for $3.99.
The large barn star I bought on sale at Hobby Lobby for $9.99.
Total cost of project, roughly $16.
