My Silly Girl

My little girl is growing up so fast, I say this all the time, but lately she has been talking more and more. I actually can have a conversation with her. She is talking in sentences now all the time instead of a couple word commands. It’s nice now that she can tell me what’s wrong, what she wants, what hurts, etc. Occasionally she still whines, but I just tell her I can’t help her until she tells me what’s the matter. She picks up on every word after it’s said only one time. I’m really amazed by the past month and what she has learned.
We have been working on the alphabet for about a month. She now knows every letter. She can’t sing the alphabet, but I can point at any letter and she will tell me what it is, or if I ask her where a certain letter is she will point it out. Daddy taught her colors the other night, it took her seriously 10 minutes to learn red, yellow, green, blue, purple, and orange. Next we are working on numbers and shapes.
Here’s my baby girl at 26 months old…she’s not a baby anymore 🙁

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Walmart/Old El Paso. All opinions are those of our own. Game Day is just around the corner and I recently was perusing around Walmart looking for ideas for recipes for the Big Game. I'm a huge fan of Old El Paso products, and I have used them for years.
