Product Review and Giveaway: 20 Mule Team Borax

Here’s another great product I got to review from being a Purex Insider. Borax has been around since 1913.

What is Borax you ask? It is a naturally occurring substance produced by the repeated evaporation of seasonal lakes. It’s also known as sodium tetraborate, but Borax is it’s common name.

What is Borax for? Borax works to soften “hard water” that most people have in their homes. If you add 1/2 cup to your laundry with your favorite laundry soap (I of course use Purex), it’s safe in all machines as well as HE machines. Borax also has other uses, it can be used as a pre-treater for stains, but other than laundry it can be used as an alternative cleaner that is “green.” It can be used for toilet bowls, sinks, showers, counter tops, dishwasher, garbage cans, carpet, mattresses, and much more. It can also be used for many different craft recipes.

I like Borax to use in addition to my Purex laundry detergent, it gets my whites whiter and my clothes cleaner. It deodorizes as well as removes stains. It allows the detergent to clean better than before too!

You can enter to win $1500 or 1 of 171 free coupons for Borax by clicking and entering HERE!
