Product Review and Giveaway: ReUsies

I have been wanting to try out some reusable snack bags for awhile and I finally got the chance to, they are called ReUsies! They are a great product! If you are looking for something a little “greener” and not so wasteful, I definitely recommend checking out their product. After reading some facts on why this product should be used, I was definitely hooked, read HERE about how you can reduce waste!

I was surprised by the great construction of these bags, but yet they weren’t thick, they were very thin with nylon inside. My 14 month old used them for her snacks and kept them in the bag.

I received a snack size bag and a sandwich size bag, here are the sizes according to their website:

“Snack: approx. 6” w / 5” h
The snack size holds a half sandwich or whole sandwich with the crust cut off! It is good for smaller quantities of crackers, pretzels, apple slices, etc.

Sandwich: approx. 7.5” w/ 6”h
The sandwich size holds a typical “grown up”- sized sandwich, full bagel, or larger quantity of snacks.

A typical lunch would contain one sandwich and two snack-sized bags or three snack-sized bags.”

You can purchase ReUsies through their online store, here. I’m also doing a giveaway for a pair of ReUsies in the print of your choice! Enter below via Rafflecopter. The contest will run 1/2/13-1/27/13 12:01am

Game Day Recipe: Make Your Own Italian Sub Boats #OEPBigGame

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Walmart/Old El Paso. All opinions are those of our own. Game Day is just around the corner and I recently was perusing around Walmart looking for ideas for recipes for the Big Game. I'm a huge fan of Old El Paso products, and I have used them for years. Of course using them for the normal things like tacos, quesadillas, nachos, and more, I came up with an idea to make Italian Sub Boats with the Whole Wheat … [Read More...]
