Product Review: Squooshi Reusable Food Pouches

My kids ages 14 months and 4 years LOVE the new food pouches of baby food, yogurts, applesauce, etc., but I really hate paying the money for them. Also, I really enjoy making my kids food and knowing what’s in it, especially food for my 14 month old. Squooshi has a great product invented just for that, reusable food pouches!!

All you have to do is make your own baby food (possibilities are endless), put the cap onto the pouch, undo the zip-lock style seal on the bottom, fill it 3/4 of the way full, zip the bottom back up and that’s it. It’s that simple. Washing them out after they are empty is a breeze too. They are dishwasher safe, but I recommend just handwashing with warm soap and water. It doesn’t take much. I thought they would be hard to get clean, but they really aren’t.

The reason I love Squooshi is, they save money because you’re not spending $1.25-$3 on ONE pouch from the grocery store, you know what’s in the product as you made it yourself, and the other reason, you’re helping the environment by not having all that waste to throw away!!!
The product I reviewed was the assorted 4 pack, it came with 2- 2.5 oz pouches and 2- 4.5 oz pouches. This is offered on their website for $18.49, click HERE to view their online store. They offer a ton of other combinations of pouches as well.

Here are a lot of other great features about their product:
No choke cap
Dishwasher safe
BPA Free
Phthalate Free
PVC Free
Lead Free
Not recommended for microwave use.
Not recommended for liquids.
The opinion of this product is all mine, I was not influenced in anyway for my opinion.

I almost ordered these today, no joke! My son will ONLY eat veggies now if they’re in a pouch! Instead of having to buy the prepackaged ones every time this would make life so easier because I could just make my own veggie pouches! 🙂

  3. My kids love the packets when I buy them at the store, so I would love to be able to make my own!

  4. i am dying for some squooshi! my son eats at least one pouch a day. he’s addicted.

  5. i would love these because my son would LOVE them, he would really like the freedom of doing it all by himself! 🙂

  6. For my son; would be cheaper and better for the environment rather than spending $1+ every time he wanted applesauce! 🙂

  7. This would be PERFECT for my daughter. She loves the pouches… this would give me the chance to save money, make my own, and control what goes inside her drinks. 🙂

  8. These look like they’d be perfect for my son!!

  9. Ellen Bratzel says:

I have 4 kids who would LOVE these- I refuse to buy the disposable ones! Plus, I have a 3 month old- so these would be great for when she starts solids so we can take homemade baby food on the go!

  10. I would love this! I have been waiting for something like this.

  11. My kids love the pouches, but I hate how much waste they create! These are the best of both worlds–fun and squeezey for the kids, and no waste for Mommy!

  12. I would love to have a set of these so I could make my DD’s AM pouch smoothies when we’re in a rush for daycare. That way, I can control how much yogurt/fruit and veggies are in my treats!

  26. Love making my own baby food, but really miss the convience of the pouches with the ready made food. This is a perfect solution! No more leaky tupperware for me!

  27. I want these so bad! I’m in the process of convincing my 1st time preggo friends about cloth diapers and economically friendly reusable products. When I saw this I nearly fell down! LOVE the idea and can’t wait to share the product.

  28. I would love to have this because I spend so much money on the poches from stores to put in my kids lunch boxes every day. THis would be great!

  29. this would be great for my baby girl!

  30. My kids will eat almost anything if its in a pouch. I like knowing exactly what is inside the pouch so it is so great to have refillable pouches.

  31. These look awesome! Would love to win them for my daughter she loves the grocery store pouches and I miss making her food.

  32. They look great!

  33. We are on the road all the time, so it is very handy to buy these for my toddler, but they get so expensive. Plus, I can control the ingredients. Would love to win!

  34. Elizabeth Parker says:

We have a 3 year old and a 6 month old. As previously stated by others, on car trips, or even just out and about, these type items are very convenient, but get expensive and produce a lot of waste. With these, I can control what goes in, and they are reusable! 🙂

  35. Kristy Hughes says:

I would love to have these. I have a seven year old who likes to eat apple sauce out of them. And I have a one year just learning how to use them, and they make serving purees so much easier. It would be much cheaper to get refillable pouches and then I can choose what goes in them as well!

  36. “I gotta have some of these…what a great product!!!” the product is nice.

  37. I love making my own baby food and these would be great for our picnics at the park:)
