Review: Copy Kids DVD

Do you have any issues with your kids eating fruits or vegetables? There is a dvd that can help you and your children out. It’s called Copy Kids and I LOVE this. At first I was pretty skeptical on a dvd getting my child to eat fruits and vegetables that she isn’t familiar with, but now I know that it definitely works.

The DVD features 12 different chapters, each 7 minutes long, one for each of twelve fruits & veggies:

bell pepper

Each section focuses on the one fruit/veggie in getting your child to try/eat it by showing other children eat that food. All you do is set your child(ren) down and give them a bowl of whatever fruit/veggie section they are watching.

When I did this for my 4 year old I wanted to focus on the ones she does not eat which is oranges, avocado, raspberries, and blueberries. She eats all the others happily, so I was curious to see how this would work with her. The first one we tried was avocado, and she pitched a fit telling me she was not eating it when I was cubing it up for her to try. As soon as I sat her down on the floor with some avocado in a bowl and turned the Copy Kids DVD onto that section, within 4 minutes she was eating avocado. She ate an entire half of an avocado, when she would never touch it before.

The other section we tried out was blueberries. I have a ton of blueberries in our freezer from a few months ago that we went and picked, she would never eat them before. Only if they were baked in something, but never alone. I explained to her the section was just like the avocado section, and within 1 minute of the blueberry section starting, she was happily eating blueberries and she yelled to me that she likes blueberries now.
I was very impressed with this DVD and the positive interaction it had. My 4 year old loved watching this and eating with the kids on tv. If you’re interested in purchasing, click this LINK, the DVD is only $19.95 which I think is great to get your children eating healthy.

We will have an upcoming giveaway, the Copy Kids DVD will be offered within our Pre-Schooler Prize Pack, this giveaway will begin on 2/15/13.
