Review & Giveaway: Skoy Cloth and Takeya Glass Water Bottle

The first product I’m going to review is Skoy Cloth. When I first received these, I thought, eh, they’re nothing really special, but boy was I wrong! They come in a 4 pack for $6.95. On the packaging it says that a one of these is equal to 15 rolls of paper towels, so a 4 pack is equal to 60 ROLLS of paper towels!
I love the colors that these come in, they are pretty, and they feel sponge-y like.

The first thing I did was get one wet, and then you’re suppose to ring it out to get most of the water out, so it pretty much works like a car chamois. I cleaned my counter tops with it and it did a great job. I love the feel of them, they work well too. I have used them for the past week washing dishes, cleaning off the stove top etc, and they still look as good as new.

The best part is you can throw these in the dishwasher, washer, and even the microwave to kill any germs/bacteria. They are eco-friendly, natural, biodegradable and compostable. All pluses in my book, plus the best part, they are affordable!!! These would be a great gift for cooks, a housewarming party, or just for a friend.

The next product I’m reviewing is a Takeya Glass Water Bottle for $19.95. I was really hesitant about using a glass water bottle with two young kids around, but the glass water bottle comes with a silicone sleeve to protect it.

Glass water bottles are great as they are BPA free, lead free, and phthalate free. They keep the water tasting clear and pure as there is no chemical after taste like when you use cheap plastic bottles or even stainless steel bottles. They have a wide mouth that allows you to put ice in as well. Having this has really helped me with my water intake as I can just grab this by the loop and take it with me.

If you would like to win your very own set of Skoy 4 pack and a Takeya Glass Water Bottle (Total Retail Value of $27), enter via the Rafflecopter below. US entries only. Giveaway ends on 2/14/13 at 11:59pm CST.

  28. I’m a huge water drinker, rarely drink anything else except occasional Gatorade or something like that… I like the idea of reusable water bottles but I do not like the way the stainless ones taste or the way a lot of the plastic ones leave a plastic taste to your water. This glass bottle is perfect for me as it doesnt alter the taste of the water, I also really like the glass one on the site with the tea infuser. Pretty neat product. And really liked several of the storage containers like the reusable produce bags….they would really come in handy at my house. Im also trying to encourage my husband to drink more water and less soda and the glass water bottle would be great for him as he will only drink water out of glass as he doesn’t like water in the first place and definitely does not like if if the container leaves a weird taste to the water. Thank you for the giveaway, dh_jax@yahoo.com
