    I tried the dark and quiet room thing, only works for 3 hours, then he wakes up.

    I used a musical toy on the crib to help them fall asleep. Yes they were sound sleepers

    My first was a great sleeper right from the start with sun in the day and dark at night, our newest is not taking it and we’ve tried nearly everything!

    Cozy PJs, dry diaper and a full tummy! He was a good sleeper as an infant. Hopefully new baby will be the same!

    I would turn the lights off and rock her until she was almost asleep before laying her down. Janet is still not a sound sleeper, she is a (still) very colicky 5 month old!

    Others will probably be jealous when I say both of our children slept like a rock and we never had any problems.

    I have three boys, and I always kept a white noise machine in their rooms. It helped calm them down, and blocked out any noise from the rest of the house. 🙂

    My daughter sleeps with a dog that plays 10 minutes of bedtime music. We also keep a fan going in her room.

    My sweet girl is a great nighttime sleeper as long as we stick with her routine, but she hates naps!! I was thinking about getting a sound machine for naptime.

  22. My baby has his best nap in the morning, making sure the sound machine is on and the room is warm- as well as baby having a full belly ensures a few hours. =)

    we always do snuggle time right before bed, it helps us all wind down. I am lucky all 4 of mine are good sleepers!

    When my son was a baby, we would turn down all the lights, walk around the room saying goodnight to different objects in the room. It really set the mood, and calmed him down!
