Cracker Barrel Cheese Pairings

crackerbarrellogo

I recently had the chance to review three great cheeses from Cracker Barrel in exchange for my honest opinion. They have been one of my favorite inexpensive cheese brands since I can remember. Kraft never disappoints when it comes to their products.

I got to review Cracker Barrel Aged Reserve White Cheddar, Vermont Sharp White, and Extra Sharp White. I also received this super cool cheese cutting board with storage inside for the cheese cutting/serving tools.

I love cheese pairings, one of my favorites has always been apple and sharp cheddar! Here are some great cheese pairings I found:

pairing_aged-reserveCracker Barrel Aged Cheddar, top with honey, chopped walnuts, chopped dates, and apple slices.

Cracker Barrel Aged Reserve, fruit/walnut bread, dried fruits, and watercress.

Cracker Barrel Vermont Sharp and Cracker Barrel Extra Sharp Cheddar, Apples, Cinnamon, and Walnuts.

I’m a huge cheese fan, I can just sit down with a whole block of cheese and eat it, but pairing cheese with different combination takes it to a whole new level. It brings out great flavors in the cheese too.

I love Cracker Barrel cheese slices with just the classic pepperoni and buttery cracker. I also love a cracked black pepper cracker with a slice of extra sharp cheddar, drizzle of honey, and a slice of nectarine. YUM! Another favorite, Cracker Barrel Cheddar, chopped jalapenos in a grilled cheese sandwich, is beyond good. Don’t forget about pairing wine with cheese, there are so many great combinations, so don’t forget to have some cheese with that wine!

Buy It: You can buy Kraft Cracker Barrel Cheeses for $3.99(suggested retail value) at your local grocer in the dairy/cheese section.

Disclosure: Everything Mommyhood received the above products for free in exchange for my honest review and post on cheese pairings. I was not compensated in any way for this post.
