Nutrisystem: Starting Today Day 1

#spon #ad Here’s day ONE of Nutrisystem. I posted about a month ago HERE telling you all that myself and my husband were starting Nutrisystem. After going on vacation and getting over illnesses as well as getting our shipment of food, we are finally ready to start.

Today is Day 1 so I wanted to post our beginnings for my readers!

I did take before pictures of myself and my husband, but I just can’t come to posting them yet. I am so embarrassed by how I look that I will have to post them later on once we start losing weight to compare!

I’m 5’9″ and I have a large build
Darci’s Starting Weight: 246.0
Darci’s Goal Weight: 165

My husband is 6’0″ and has a large build
Tim’s Starting Weight: 266.4
Tim’s Goal Weight: 200

I have only ate my breakfast so far today and it was very good. I had a Strawberry Protein Drink and a NS Blueberry Muffin. I have no complaints whatsoever and they made me feel full.

My husband has had a Coffee Protein Drink and a NS Banana Nut Muffin, and his mid-morning snack of 2 Tbsp of nuts. He says he feels full and he liked the protein drink and muffin as well.

I will make a post later on with the food to give you an idea of what I had!

Good luck Darci and Tim. I’ll be joining the weight loss journey as soon as my little guy or gal visits us in December. I have a lot of work to do!

  2. You can do it! Just so you know, we have basically the same weight & height, and my heaviest was about 5.5 years ago at 30 lbs heavier. You are going to look and feel amazing WHEN you reach your goal! (So will I!)

  3. Tinamarie says:

Have you thought about incorporating herbal teas into your diet to keep up nutrition? There are a lot of really good nourishing herbs that will help you get many vitamins and minerals and will keep you feeling really good!

I like to make infusions of some herbs by boiling water and adding a handful of herbs into a large mason jar, pouring the water over and covering and letting sit overnight. Then drink it all day the next day!!

    Try these herbs:
    raspberry leaf
    linden leaf

I’m the biggest fan of nettle, if you want a place to start!

Good luck on your journey into health!!

  4. Good luck! I’ll look forward to following your reviews and progress!
