Great ideas for what to take. This are nice additions to your cookout. Salads are always a hit, and we have both sweet and unsweet tea. I like the idea of making apple dip. That would be something different and go especially well with a BBQ.

  204. The kids will love that I found another jalapeno recipe. Thank you for posting the recipe for Jalapeno Cheddar Cream Cheese Bites. They sound amazing. We have made the Buffalo Chicken dip many times and a useful way to get rid of leftovers is to stuff the dip into wonton wrappers then bake or deep fry them. The kids love them.

  219. Iced tea is a must. I used to make iced tea for my FIL for when he would come over and he would always say “Is there SUGAR in this?”. He is diabetic and cannot have a lot of sugar. I made with Splenda but apparently I make it sweeter than he is used to, and my MIL would end up drinking his tea so they would drink the whole thing. Hmm. LOL.
