Teespring – Crowdfunded Custom Apparel Review

Teespring is a new company I recently heard about on the internet and I just had to check it out. I was amazed at how you can create and sell custom T-shirts with NO upfront costs! All those other websites out there have you design a shirt and order so many, not to mention in sizes you don’t know that will fit every one.

Teespring allows you to easily design your T-shirt directly on their website, whether it be for your team, work, fundraiser, church, fire/police department, cause, or charity! You simply design your shirt, choose the color, wording, shirt etc, then you set the price. Meaning you will make a profit off of your shirt, and the profit will be sent directly to you. The best part is, everyone orders their shirt online, so you aren’t stuck paying a bill for shirts you don’t sell, or have any extra sizes that didn’t sell.

I was going through some of their successful campaigns and wanted to share a few with you so you could get an idea of how Teespring works. We all know of the recent bombing at the Boston Marathon, so someone created a Stay Strong Boston shirt. This campaign raised over $85,000 and 100% of the proceeds were donated! Another one I came across was this lovely Love Makes a Family T-shirt, which was created to help a couple be able to adopt a baby. I just love how this company has been used for great causes, and can be used to generate any idea you could think of.

I highly recommend checking out Teespring and design your own shirt! There’s unlimited opportunities and ideas with this great company!

Check out Teespring on Facebook and Twitter and make sure you follow them!

  1. I checked out the site and you’re right, they make it quite easy for anyone to create a t-shirt for a fundraiser or campaign. Very nice! I like that they support not-for-profit organizations to raise funds directly through their site. Thanks for the information; I will keep Teespring in mind for the future.
