Young Scientists Club: Clifford Kitchen Science Review/Giveaway – ends 5/28

KitchenScience600

We recently reviewed this super cool Clifford the dog Kitchen Science Kit. I have to say I was SO impressed! My 4.5 year old LOVES the activities in this, and there are SO many of them!

The saying goes that you ‘can’t teach an old dog new tricks.’ Well The Young Scientists Club has managed to teach the world’s oldest (50 years!), largest and most loveable canine quite a bit about science; and he is set to share his findings with the world.  The beloved literary character, Clifford The Big Red Dog® is ready to guide kids to discover bubbles, rainbows and experiments by the kitchen sink in three new kits.  Kitchen Science Kit, Bubble Science Kit, and Rainbow Science Kit are all so neat.

The first activity we did and the one I’m sharing with you is “making slime.” It requires some cornstarch, water, and food coloring. I left out the food coloring because I didn’t want to stain anything. My 4.5 year old thought this was awesome, as did I. We played with the slime and squished it for a long time.

This Kitchen Science Kit has SO many activities – test tube explosion, making slime, crystal star, crystal art, milk glue, colored celery, waking up fungus, fungus eats bananas, fungus in a tube, sticky ice, upside down trick, crystal garden, and exploding volcano. We have quite a few more to do, but the ones we have done so far, my daughter has LOVED doing. She has enjoyed learning how each one works as well, so it’s perfect for her age!

One Lucky Winner will win their choice of the Kitchen Science Kit, Bubble Science Kit, or Rainbow Science Kit, all of which retails for $19.99 each.
