Mommy Moment – Advice for Moms

This post brought to you by HUGGIES. All opinions are 100% mine.

As a new mom, life can just be so very overwhelming. You have your friends and family in your ear telling you what is right or wrong, when really you should just listen to your mother's intuition. It's almost always right.

The best piece of advice I ever got when I had my very first daughter was to sleep when baby sleeps. If you are at home during that time recovering from birth, you will be up and down all night long, and up and down a lot during the day. When baby sleeps, you need to as well. So what if the dishes stack up, or there's laundry to be done? Spending time with your little one in those first few weeks are critical for both of you. Take time to adjust to your new life and enjoy it. Getting some sleep instead of keeping up with chores is more important. After a few weeks your life with you and baby will start to fall more into place and you will have a schedule where your life will become your new normal. Then you can tend to those chores while baby is busy cooing and getting some tummy time in.

One of the best baby essentials product that I was ever introduced to were HUGGIES® Little Snugglers Diapers and HUGGIES® Pure & Natural Diapers. Not to mention HUGGIES NATURAL CARE® Wipes were the best I had used, even still to this day, and my kids are 21 months and 4 years, HUGGIES NATURAL CARE® Wipes are all that I buy. I won't even waste my time with any other brand. All of the HUGGIES® brand products are available at Walmart. There's nothing better than getting all your shopping done in one place for the whole family. As a new mom it's such a time saver to be able to pick up dinner, and diapers/wipes in one stop.
