Sleep Well For Kids – Relax at Bedtime CD Review/Giveaway – ends 8/6

cdAs a parent, I know how rough bedtime can be. My 4 year old puts me through the ringer every night. We have tried routines, tv, no tv, baths, no baths, nothing seems to get her ready for bed, there’s still always a million excuses/needs/wants. When Sleep Well for Kids contacted me I knew I had to give it a try. I have two girls, 20 months and 4.5 years, although my 20 month old goes to bed no problem, like I said above, my 4.5 year old is a different story. I’m willing to try ANYTHING for her.

At first I was pretty skeptical of the CD, how could a CD calm my child and get her to sleep? Well, it did. I try to review movies or cds before I let my kids listen/watch, so I first listened to this last night out in my car. It was SO soothing. Janet Montgomery CH.t  has one of the most soothing voices and the CD immediately made me feel cozy and warm. Janet’s voice and Jeff Gold’s relaxing melodies, along with soft animal noises and usage of your imagination, this seriously worked for my 4.5 year old. Happy Momma right here! She listened to the CD, and I’m not sure how long it took her to fall asleep, but the CD is 30 minutes long, and she had to have fallen asleep before the end or she would have been yelling for me. 30 minutes or less is a record time for her falling asleep!

sleepwellcdThe CD provides a nurturing atmosphere, with calming voices, relaxing music, to help your child wind down and use their imaginations while drifting off to sleep. I highly recommend trying this out with your child. I give this CD two thumbs up.
