Subscription Box: Bonjour Jolie – August Box Review

bonjourlogoThis is my third subscription box review for Bonjour Jolie, as it’s one of my favorite boxes and is well worth the money each month. Check out my Bonjour Jolie Review from June and my Bonjour Jolie Review from May for some ideas of what types of items are included in each month’s box. This is a subscription box for that time of the month, or to put it vague, a period subscription box! As a woman/teen you have to have your feminine products every month, so why not pay a little extra to get some awesome products and have it shipped right to your front door!

Here’s my August 2013 Bonjour Jolie Subscription Box
bonjoursubscription2There were a lot of smaller size products in this box compared to my last couple boxes, but they were great items that I love and will of course use each and every one. This month’s box (August) is appropriately titled “Honoring the Feminine,” as each product inside features all women owner businesses. I thought that was a super cool idea! All of my products came in small cutesy colored bags (see my other reviews for pics), which I forgot to get a picture of before my 5 year old ran off with them.

bonjoursubscriptionboxSilver & Stone Bracelet ($14.00)– This bracelet is gorgeous and I was excited to see this beautiful piece of jewelry in my box. It’s made with alpaca silver and precious stones.

Leccare Lollipops ($2.00)– I’m not a huge candy person, but I just had to eat the Peach Cobbler one as soon as I got this in the mail. This lollipop was so different than any other. It REALLY tasted like Peach Cobbler, peach, crust, cinnamon, etc. SO GOOD, I can’t wait to try the Raspberry Lemon Cream one I have left.

Just Add Honey Tea Company- 5 bags ($3.50)– These are from a little tea company in Tucker, GA. I love that these are hand blended and packed with tons of flavor. I received Chocolate Delight, Wild Blueberry, Mint to Be, Georgia Peaches, and Berries flavored teas. I can’t wait to try them out.

Organic Herbal Hand Scrub ($2.00)– This hand scrub is made with Essential Oils, which is all the crazy right now. I love the smell of this! It’s ingredients are Demerara, Turbinado, white, light, & dark brown sugar, avocado oil, honey and more.

Scaredy Cat Mineral Eye Shadow ($1.50)– I love the little container this came in and the little brush, perfect for travel, and it’s a nice brown/rust color which I love. Designer Mineral eye shadows stay on a lot better than regular eye shadow too.

Happy Hands Lotion ($1.00)– This lotion is super fast absorbing and isn’t greasy! It’s also made with natural essential oils. Love this stuff!

Herbal Bath Salts Barefoot Apothecary ($1.00)– I received Lavender Chamomile which I’m going to use tonight to take a relaxing bath before bed. It smells really good.

Sensibles Sanitary Bags ($1.00)– I love these small anti-microbial and biodegradable disposable bags for sanitary products. These are perfect for when you’re on the go. I have these in my purse for when they’re needed. I might even use it for a dirty diaper for my toddler if I was in a pinch!

Variety of Tampons ($6.00)– I love these name brand Tampons and I love that you can pick out your favorite brands with a subscription.

As you can see my box was filled with a lot of awesome products. It was approximately a $32 Value box, for only $16 (plus S/H which is $5). Comforting and pampering straight to your front door for a great price without even leaving your house!!! I HIGHLY recommend checking out this subscription box. Bonjour Jolie is so easy to work with and select your products too. The boxes ship each month so you will guarantee you have your products when you need it without having to run out at the last minute!

I love this idea for myself. I’m stationed overseas and to receive a box in the mail is like you hit the jackpot, but to have it full of surprises … I am going to sign up!

  2. We hope our teas help relax you during your “girl time”. Cheers!

  3. Oh neat! I really like this! Great gift idea for young ladies! And it Would be comforting and pampering for that horrid “time of the month”!

  4. Thanks for the post and the nice comment on my sugar scrub! Be sure to use the coupon code on the back of my card 🙂

  5. I am huge fan of subscription boxes. I would love to have these special treats when I’m feeling less than diva-like
