2013 Barbie Dreamhouse Review

barbielogoI can’t even begin to tell you how excited I was when One2One Network offered to send my daughter and I the new 2013 Barbie Dreamhouse to review. The best part about receiving it to review was we received it a few days before my daughter’s 5th birthday. I managed to keep it hidden in my closet and gave it to her the night of her birthday. She was SPEECHLESS and said it was the best birthday present she has ever got! (Thanks One2One Network!)

barbiedreamhouseWhen I was younger I played with Barbies for years, all the way until I was about 12-13. I had every single one you could think of, every outfit, every pair of shoes, every car, furniture, etc…everything BUT the dreamhouse. THIS is why I was so excited for my daughter to play with it. Barbies promote imaginative play which I encourage a lot with both of my kids.

“After all her travels, Barbie realized that Malibu is where her heart is and has decided to stay there in a newly renovated Dreamhouse!  Barbie’s brand new 2013 Dreamhouse is now available at retailers nationwide for every girl who has always wanted a Dreamhouse of her own.

The newly renovated Dreamhouse is three-stories, has 6 rooms, two elevators, and unmatched “ocean views” of the Malibu coastline.  And of course her new Barbie’s Dreamhouse features a few luxe details – like pink stainless steel kitchen appliances and a walk-in closet with its own elevator– a first for the fashion icon.”

My daughter just LOVES the working elevator that can bring Barbie from the bottom floor all the way up to the third floor, and her clothes from the bathroom to the third floor as well, yep, two working elevators. This dreamhouse also comes complete with furniture, accessories, even a dog! I’d advise you to get a small baggy to let your little one store all of her Barbie pieces in. I just used a pencil case and that works great to keep everything stored away without getting lost. My daughter also loves how big the house is and it fits all of her Barbies.

Now putting together the Dreamhouse is far from anything dreamy. There’s about a million pieces, so I cleared my evening to put this together, it took me a couple hours. I came across a wonderful EXTREMELY helpful video on how to assemble your Barbie Dreamhouse, believe me, you will watch this over and over again!

The Barbie Dreamhouse is now available for purchase at Walmart and retailers nationwide for $184.99 MSRP.

Disclosure: I participated in this sponsored campaign for One2One Network. I received monetary compensation and product to facilitate my post, but all opinions stated are my own.

Not trying to be mean. Please don’t take this in a bad way. I was hoping for a review on this product and I don’t feel like I got one. I was expecting info like its all plastic sturdy easily washable ect but seems like only real review was on the assembly. I love your sight and your give aways I just wanted to give my opinion on the review hopefully no hard feelings.

  2. ohmigosh….I remember how much I loved my Barbie camper when I was a kid.

  3. Yeah !… life is like riding a bicycle. You will not fall unless you stop pedaling!!…
