3 Keepsake Gift Ideas for your little girl

#sponsored I have a great post for you on some great keepsake gift ideas for your little girl. She will adore any of these items for years to come and they will last for ever!

Every year we buy our little girls the same old dolls and toys – disposable items that they’ll either destroy or lose after a couple of months. As a mother, it can be hard to come up with ideas for presents that will last them a lifetime – the holy grail of gift buying. Nevertheless, it isn’t impossible, particularly if you’re willing to put in some effort. To help you out with some ideas, we’ve compiled a selection of our favorites.

Is it Time to bring out the Family Recipes?
If your family has any secret food recipes, you could try putting them all down onto paper by creating a family recipe book. You can make this look appealing by using high quality card and ink pens, as well as by taking photographs of the meals you make and of your family enjoying them. You should also leave room in the back, too, so that your little girl can add her own recipes when she grows up.
This idea will take some time to create, so it will be a labor of love. Fortunately, what you spend in time you’ll save in money. I’ve actually been keeping a book for my girls for sometime now, that I keep our family recipes in. I can’t wait to pass this onto them.

How about Jewelry?
Jewelry is something that your little girl can cherish for a lifetime, so it’s well worth considering when it comes to her next Christmas or birthday. The best sort of thing you could choose to get her would be something neutral and classy. This is so that as her tastes change and develop as she gets older, your gift won’t become irrelevant and she’ll keep wearing it. Along the same lines, it would also be sensible to get her something that can be adjusted for size. If you’re looking for classy jewelry but you’re not sure where to begin, H. Samuel is worth a visit.

Consider a Family Collage
Creating a framed collage of your extended family – past and present – is an excellent way to celebrate where your little girl has come from and is something which will stay with her forever. Again, this will be a labor of love, but it will be cheap – other than the cost of ink – so it’s something you can spend some time on. Put it in a nice frame like the ones you can see on this Pinterest board.

Hopefully, at least one of these ideas will spark some inspiration and give you some great ideas for a gift that your little girl will keep forever.
