Cloth Diapering: Storage Solution Guest Post

Here at Everything Mommyhood we are a fan of cloth diapering. I only do it at home though as cloth diapering outside of the home seems to scare me. Anyways, cloth is just so cute as there are so many different prints out there. One of the hardest things about cloth diapering is finding enough storage.  As a member of the cloth diaper community, my diapers, or fluff, take up a lot of space.  Cloth diapers are called fluff because they are “fluffy” and are much bigger than disposable diapers.  So my changing table with my diapers all fluffed and ready to go was a bit cluttered.  I have enough clutter in my life, my whole house is a clutter-fest.  As I visit that changing table more than any other area of my house during the day, I needed it to be less cluttered.  I have a bookshelf next to the changing table but that’s already full, so I’ve kept the diapers behind the changing pad on the changing table (which is just FB’s dresser).   In the picture below, that isn’t half of the diapers that are normally there.

I’ve thought about putting up a shelf above the dresser to put the cloth diapers on, however, if you stack the diapers they tend to lean and want to fall over.  So, I’ve been racking my brain on what to do and it dawned on me.  I needed a wicker basket to hang on the wall and stuff full of my fluff.

It worked like a charm!!!  I love it!  I’m sure many of you are creative and think outside the box all the time but I don’t.  A lot of days I tend not to have time to think of anything other than lunches and finding something fun to entertain the Drama and Diva, leaving me  time to continue to spoil FB and carry her around the house.

    This is really cute. I love how you have storage on top of the box too. I would need three or four of these for all my fluff though.
