mccain potatoes cartI recently had the chance to work with McCain Potatoes, which I was beyond excited about as my family loves them. It’s important to me to have a family meal together as often as we can, and I love providing my family with whole, natural foods. McCain Potatoes allowed that to happen!
mccainpurelypotatoesWe love potatoes here in our home, and have them quite often, almost with every meal. We are a meat and potatoes type family. My kids love potatoes, as well as myself and my husband. Although, none of us are really picky, we love our veggies, especially potatoes! We tried the McCain Purely, whole baby skin-on potatoes, which are real, 100% natural. I roasted them in the oven for 25 minutes at 450 degrees with a little bit of oil, salt, pepper, and some italian seasonings. You wouldn’t even have known that they were previously in the freezer, they tasted just the same as they do when I buy them fresh. The best thing about the McCain potatoes, was I didn’t have to scrub them clean. They were already clean and ready to cook. I like buying products that are no-prep, I don’t want to spend hours in the kitchen when I could be spending time with my family. There are several ways to use the Purely Potatoes, from potato salad, to mashed potatoes, or just steamed. I think next time I will use them to make a yummy potato salad for a playgroup get together.

McCain Potatoes are found in the natural food freezer section of your grocery store. They have several different varieties, Purely Potatoes, Seasoned Wedges, Crinkle Cut Fries, Smiles, and even Sweet Potato Fries. They are very reasonable in price too!

McCain Potatoes is running a Facebook Contest where they will select 1 winner each week (8 winners total) to receive a $500 grocery store gift card! Contestants can also check out the Grocery Goodness Giveaway tab for to receive a $1 off coupon off any 1 bag of McCain Potato products!

If you haven’t tried out McCain’s Potato products, I highly recommend them! Also make sure you stop by and like McCain’s Potatoes on Facebook.
