Homemade Meals from McCormick – Italian Meatloaf and Giveaway – ends 10/17

This post brought to you by McCormick & Company. All opinions are 100% mine.

Here at Everything Mommyhood I love to cook and I think dinner time is very important to have with the whole family. In our home, dinner time is quality time! McCormick is a brand that has been around for a long time and I use McCormick brand almost daily in my home. I like easy, simple, good tasting recipes and McCormick.com is a site I visit often to get recipes to share with my family. I made McCormick’s Italian Meatloaf recipe for the first time and it was a huge hit for my family.

I used all of McCormick’s spices for this recipe too, as they are my go to brand and the only brand I buy since they are always of the best quality. I used McCormick® Perfect Pinch® Italian Seasoning, Onion Powder, Garlic Powder, and Black Pepper.  Here’s the yummy recipe I used:

2 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup plain bread crumbs
1/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1 egg
4 teaspoons McCormick® Perfect Pinch® Italian Seasoning , divided
1 teaspoon McCormick® Onion Powder
1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Black Pepper, Ground
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix ground beef, bread crumbs, 1/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese, egg, 2 teaspoons of the Italian seasoning and remaining seasonings in large bowl.
  2. Shape into a loaf on shallow baking pan. Mix tomato sauce and remaining 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning. Pour over top.
  3. Bake 55 to 60 minutes or until meat loaf is cooked through. Sprinkle with remaining 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

As you can see it is super simple to make.

I always grew up with my mom using McCormick spices too. I recommend you trying McCormick products and trying some of their wonderful recipes.
