Joovy Tricycoo Review #HolidayGiftGuide

joovy tricycoo review

As a Joovy Mommy Blogger I received products to review for all of my fans. I received the Joovy Tricycoo in Pink for my Holiday Gift Guide.

I had been wanting this for awhile as I have heard so many good things about it, and I knew my 2 year old daughter would love this. Joovy makes so many wonderful products from strollers, to toys, to other baby gear and more. My last review was on the Joovy Caboose Ultralight Stroller.

The concept of the Tricycoo is simple – your child does not need to steer, pedal or balance on their own.   They simply enjoy the fun and independence of their first tricycle while you guide them with the parent push handle (removable).   When engaged, the parent push handle overrides the steering on the Tricycoo.  It has 4-positions and is adjustable from 32.5 to 38 inches high.

While your child is getting used to the idea of balancing and holding on to the handlebars, the front wheel pedals can be unlocked; this allows the pedals to spin freely without force and “go” without the need to pedal.

The removable ‘baby surround arms’ safely enclose your child on the seat and the fold down footrest gives more stability to the child when riding.  This gives them confidence and support while they perfect their balancing.

The Joovy Tricycoo comes in 4 colors, black, greenie, orangie, and pink.

The tricycoo was super easy to put together. It took me about 20 minutes and all I needed was a philips screwdriver, and that’s it. I put it together all by myself and didn’t need my husband, which some things you need more than 2 hands, but this you didn’t. It’s always a plus when something is easy to assemble.
I love the push handle, and being able to flip the switch to be able to push my 2 year old instead of her pedaling. We go on walks a lot and I usually put her in the stroller, but now we just use the Joovy Tricycoo. Now she can get some exercise with us, and when she’s tired, I just flip the switch and I push her with the adjustable handle.

You can use the Joovy Tricycoo with babies as young as 18 months and you can install the baby surround system that comes with the Tricycoo. I didn’t put it on mine for my 2 year old as I think she’s old enough to not be enclosed in it, so far she has done fine and we have used it every day for the last week. She loves to ring the bell on the handlebars, and she does really well keeping her feet on the foot rests when not pedaling. You can also fold up the foot rests, when they aren’t in use.

Check out my short video of my 5 year old pushing my 2 year old on the Joovy Tricycoo:

The Joovy Tricycoo is a great ride on toy and I highly recommend it. I can see my 2 year old getting tons of use out of this in the years to come.

You can purchase the Joovy Tricycoo at Joovy’s Website for $129.99. I’d recommend purchasing the Joovy Noodle Helmet to go along with it and you can even get it to match.

Disclosure: As a Joovy Mom Blogger, I receive Joovy products for review. I do not receive any compensation for my posts and all opinions are 100% my own. My opinions may differ from those of your own.

  1. We love the oovy tricycoo tricycle too. I love that it grows with baby. With Shelby being 20 months we can push her on it but as she learns to pedal herself she will have the perfect ride on toy! It’s one that lasts for more than a few months, and you can pass it down to other kiddos!
