    When my oldest was 6 mo old he got rsv and was used to having his pacifier but he couldn’t breathe with it in his mouth so he spit it out and never used a pacifier again.

    My daughter uses one it helps so much with teething too, I’d put it in the freezer and when she got crabby she’d love it

  12. My great niece is 2 years old and doesn’t use a pacifier any longer but her brother does as he’s only 11 months old 😉 My great niece would only use the pacifier from the hospital and we always had to clean it and have it ready lol

    1 out of 5 took a pacifier! She did until almost 2! Her great Aunt took it away and said she wanted to hear her talk and from that day forward she is still talking including in her sleep!

  19. My little one isn’t here yet. But I remember my little brother sporting a MAM pacifier for quite some time! It was the only brand he liked!

  24. Baby girl didn’t start liking pacifiers until about her third or fourth month. Now she likes playing with them and the noise it makes when she pops it out of her mouth really fast with her hand. We finally got to try MAM the other day when we found them on sale. She likes them 🙂

    my previous 4 used a pacifier for the first month or 2 and I’m planning on using one for baby #5 in April!

  48. I didn’t bring pacifiers to the hospital. I didn’t want to confuse my daughter. She didn’t take a paci until she was around two weeks old & breastfeeding was well established. But she ended up liking NUK. Now with baby #2 on the way, we are staying with the same schedule, but who knows what this will like and I have heard wonderful things about MAM.

    When my daughter was little (22 years ago!), she always had to have a pacifier. To try to encourage her to give them up, I’d encourage to give a BIG suck before leaving the house. I wish I could have gotten those “big sucks” on video!

  53. My first used a pacifier for almost a year. The second never would take one. She was a thumb sucker. I’m due in about 5 weeks so time will tell if this one will take one.

  59. My now almost 4 yr old would only use mam pacis, and he was so addicted to that thing! We didn’t get rid of it till after he turned 3 and you should of seen the looks I would get from people, considering he is big for his age looked like he was 4 when he was 2! I don’t regret waiting so long though, I knew what was best for him, and he gave it up on his own when he was ready. And no he does not have any problems with his teeth or his speech!

    All 4of my kids use one.. and they steal them from one another.. I tried to get them off of them but it keeps them quiet when I’m public or church so its fine with me..lol

    My first daughter used a pacifier ALL the time. Second daughter spit it out from day one! To each their own, I suppose. MAM pacifiers are of such excellent quality, I would definitely recommend them to new moms.
