Mrs. Smiths Pies – Review & Giveaway – ends 12/10

Mrs. Smith’s pies contacted me a few weeks ago about reviewing their delicious Flaky Crust pies made with real butter in exchange for 2 free products. With Thanksgiving coming up, and Christmas, I knew this would be a great product to review for our readers.

mrssmithI picked out Pumpkin Pie as it’s my absolute favorite, I think I could probably sit there and eat the whole entire pie in one sitting. I know that’s horrible, but that’s how much I love Pumpkin Pie. The Original Flaky Crust made with real butter tasted homemade, just like my Grandma used to make. I remember watching her make the pie crust with cold butter, and chill the dough, then roll it out and make the pie. This Mrs. Smith’s pie reminded me of just that. There’s nothing better than homemade, and Mrs. Smith’s pie nailed it right on the head without all the hard work. Take the pie out of the box and throw it in the oven, that’s it, no other work is involved. The crust is so flaky, it’s just DELISH!

During the holidays, families want beautifully prepared, delicious fruit pies that fill the house with fresh-baked aromas. Our new line of pies will deliver that experience and more,” said Susan Allen, senior director for brand management at Schwan’s Consumer Brands, Inc. “Our new crust recipe, which includes real butter, will deliver a flaky crust unlike anything on the market today. As our survey shows, giving a pie is a sure way to butter someone up.

Mrs. Smith’s® Original Flaky Crust offers a warm welcome of delicious aromas and has 0 grams of trans fat per serving.
It comes in six flavors — Apple, Dutch Apple, Cherry, Peach, Pumpkin and Sweet Potato – and has hit store shelves nationwide with a suggested retail price of $6.99.
