Sponsored by: Barnes & Noble and Nook

Thanks so much to our lovely co-hosts The Stuff of Success, Motherhood Community, Mommy Knows What’s Best, The Country Gal, Jenn’s Blah Blah Blog, and other wonderful bloggers that are helping promote this fabulous giveaway! Barnes and Noble and Nook are generously offering one lucky reader a chance to win a Nook Glow Light, that’s valued at $119.00.

When I received my Nook Glow Light to review, I was surprised at how small it was. I LIKED it though. It’s easy to hold, and the perfect size to hold with just one hand comfortably. The outside of the NOOK is a rubber like material too, so it won’t slip out of your hand. It’s easy to slip in your purse too, which was great for when I had to take my daughter to cheer practice. I could just grab my GlowLight out of my purse and read! I actually had a lot of compliments on it too.

NookCollageThe all new Glow Light is the lightest e-reader yet at just 6.2 ounces and will last up to 8 weeks on one charge. I was so impressed on how long this lasted. I’m a fast reader, but I ended up reading 3 books for a total of about 1000 pages and I didn’t have to charge it one time.
The Glow Light also has 4GB of storage built in which will allow you to carry up to 2,000 books. That’s a ton of books!
You can enjoy super crisp text with a no-glare screen and high resolution, reading indoors and outdoors is easier than ever. I really liked that I could take this outside while my kids were playing and not have to worry about the sun glaring to where I wouldn’t be able to read. It’s very clear and easy to read! I also read a lot at night time with no lights on and had no issues. It also wasn’t overly bright to where it bothered my husband either.

Not only are there over 3 million titles of books, magazines, and newspapers for purchase, but you can also borrow books from your local library for free. Also, NOOK’s LendMe® feature makes it easy for you to share your favorite books with other NOOK owners. The other feature I really liked was the ability to change fonts and sizes. You could make the font as small or as big as you wanted. The touch screen was simple to use when turning the page. It was simple to find a book to purchase, or a magazine. I have absolutely no complaints or cons about the NOOK GlowLight. It is in black and white though, which I don’t mind, but if you’re looking for a color e-reader, this is not the one you are looking for.

BUY IT– Right now you can purchase the NOOK GlowLight for $119, free shipping, and receive a $20 B&N Gift Card at

The winner will receive a Nook Glow Light Valued at $119.00.

  10. Courtney T says:

I’d love this for myself, actually. I have the very first generation Nook (a christmas gift from my husband a few years ago) so it would be nice to have a reading device whose charge lasts more than 4 hours

  20. Billiejo.hayes says:

    Thanks for hosting this giveaway”

  21. Kris Garvey says:

The Country Girl pinterest link isn’t working 🙁

  22. Kris Garvey says:

I would keep this for myself – I have a very basic (read: cheapest) Nook with no light which I can’t read at night after my husband is asleep 🙁 I would then give my mom my Nook since she doesn’t read in the dark 🙂

  23. Melissa Jeffery says:

This would be for me and for my daughter. My in-laws live out of state so this would be great for traveling!

  24. I would love to have this instead of holding a book, I would use it constantly, and being it glows would be so uch better than turning on the light to read.

  25. I would love to win this for my daughter. She graduates vet school in july. She loves books and she will have time to read once she graduates. She has worked very hard all through school from K thru 12 and 7 years of college. I couldn’t be more proud of her.

  26. Diana Castro says:

It would be for hubby he has bad eye sight and needs a lot of light to read and this would really help.

  27. I love to read in bed. This would not be as bright as a small lamp on.

  28. I would love to win this because I have a kindle but one of the “firsts” in which it does not have a back light. So because of that I have to have a very heavy kindle case that has a light attached to it so that I can read at night without disturbing my husband. I would be nice to have something lighter and still be able to read!

  29. I would like this for my daughter she loves to read all the time but books are starting to pile up. lol
