Recipe: Easy Crockpot Pork Roast

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Dollar General. All opinions are 100% mine.

Did you know that Dollar General sells products to make easy meals? My Dollar General sells everything I needed to make my favorite pork roast recipe! I recommend checking out  Dollar General easy meals for recipe ideas, and for items you can pick up at your local Dollar General!

Now here is my favorite EASY Crockpot Pork Roast Recipe!

Pork Roast 2-4lbs

1 Large Onion, sliced

2 Tablespoons of Minced Garlic

1 Bay Leaf

1/2 cup of Soy Sauce

1 teaspoon of Black Pepper

1 cup of Water

Slice up your onion and place it in the bottom of the crockpot to make a bed for your pork roast.

Next, place your pork roast on top of the onions. I always place the side with the most fat towards the top, that way the juices run down, although this particular roast didn’t have much fat, which is great.

Pour in your soy sauce and water into the crockpot.

Place a bay leaf into the liquid mixture along side the roast.

Now sprinkle the top of your roast with the black pepper and garlic.

Place the lid on your crockpot and turn your crockpot to low. Cook for 6-8 hours depending on the size of your pork roast. Make sure to check the temperature of your meat.

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 6-8 hours

This pork roast is great served with mashed potatoes or rice, and a veggie. I like to make an easy gravy to serve with it as well. My family loves it!

Make sure to check out Dollar General on Facebook as well as on Twitter!!
