#AmericasFarmers – $25 Visa Gift Card Giveaway – ends 3/27

This post was created in partnership with America’s Farmers. All opinions are my own. I was compensated for this post.

A few weeks ago I made a post about one of America’s Farmers Families, The Woodrow Family! You can view the post here.

America’s Farmers are so important to us and I don’t think enough of us give them credit. The American agriculture industry supports 23 million U.S. jobs, making them the largest employer in the nation.

Without America’s Farmers you may not be able to make your favorite recipes! I even created an America’s Farmers Pinterest Board! You will find tons of yummy recipes and facts about America’s Farmers. I don’t know about all of you, but I love love love grilled corn on the cob and it’s something I look forward to every Summer.

One of my other favorite recipes is Guacamole with corn in it! I like fire roasted corn mixed in, in a pinch I use southwestern corn from a can, and it’s great too.
Here’s a great recipe from Gator Mommy Reviews – Southwestern Guacamole.

What’s one of your favorite recipes that uses products from America’s Farmers?

I would love to win to be able to buy my daughters something just because….I love them! or treat them to a nice girls night out with diner and a movie!

  6. I want to win this gift card to put towards some new summer clothes. Somehow I seem to have stained most of my summer shirts!

  7. i would put this towards swim wear since the summer is coming up and the kids will need new clothes for summer camp

  8. My favorite is the Matthews family. First my condolences on their loss of their dad. This is the American Farmers that made our country strong. The sons took over when their dad died, they kept the farm going. And Travis and Melinda and four children carrying the torch. What a beautiful family! They plant corn and soybeans, our nation’s most important crops, and crops that we also feed to other nations. Being a farmer is hard work and very underappreciated – but I do appreciate them.

  9. I’d love to have this for some fabric. I like to make fabric flowers, heart pillows and sun hats, and give them away to disadvantaged teens and ladies.

  10. I would like to win this prize so I could buy supplies for making Christmas gifts. It’s never too early to start planning.

  11. Cheryl Abdelnour says:

I like the Pistorius Family who grows corn, soybeans and organic popcorn. They are from IL

  12. Cheryl Abdelnour says:

I would like to win this so I can give it to my son.

  13. I like the Matthew Family in Missouri. It said they raise corn and soybeans and my father was a grain accountant where he had to go to farms and check their elevators. The farms he went to were corn and soybean farmers 🙂

  14. *** The entry that says Comment Below has this line in it: Comment below and tell me why you want to win this Art Party Set and who would it be for. I’m going to guess it just wasn’t changed from the last giveaway and you want to know what the $25 Gift Card would be used for..,,, I’d like to take my friends and I out to dinner at a restaurant that uses sustainable foods 🙂

  15. The Hemmes Family from Iowa! This is my state and it was so uplifting to hear about this amazing mom (nominated by her daughter, no less!!) who runs the entire family farm on her own! Wow!

  16. Beanybopp says:

I would love to win this for my mother in law…we always have big get togethers and we have bowls everywhere…it would be nice to help her out when it comes to having our get togethers.

  17. Susan Broughton says:

I like the Martin family in Indiana. A husband Matt, wife Lisa and three children. What really made me like them was the fact that he was a fourth-generation farmer, Matt Martin grew up in Kingman, Indiana, where he had opportunity to work alongside his grandfather, Gene, on the land he purchased in the late 1940s. Haveing a history really means something to me.

  18. Susan Broughton says:

I would like to win this for our family. Every little bit helps when times are hard. My husband has been out of work now for several years and still is having problems finding another one. I pray that times become better and people who want to work will be able to find a job that pays enough to support a family! So needless to say this gift certificate would be used toward necessities for the family and home.

  19. smithdw2026 says:

I think all of the families are my favorites and I appreciate all of their hard work and determination. If I had to pick only one family, I’d pick the Pistorius family because they are growing a niche crop, organic popcorn.

  20. The Boyd family is my favorite because of the diversity of all the things they farm and I appreciate their involvement with all things farming off of their farm!

  21. The Haynie Family is my fave BECAUSE I am a Virginian. I also love their family motto “We, the American farmers, feed the world. We contribute to the global food supply. Food, fiber, textile, so many things. Our products, here in this rural county get shipped all over the world. So many other countries benefit from the corn, wheat and soybeans that we raise.” – PJ HAYNIE III

  22. I wanna win the $25 VISA gift card because I would like to buy a new dress with it.

  23. I’d use it to buy groceries.
    Thanks for the contest.

  24. I have never tried guacamole before. I’m curious about the taste.

  25. Kelly Nicholson says:

ill go with The Pistorius family ..they look so cute together, and hey?..i hope all the familys make a difference

  26. Kelly Nicholson says:

Comment below and tell me why you want to win this

love to win some visa..thank you

  27. steve weber says:

The Matthews Family.. I can relate to a death in the family..

  28. What a blessing for the winter!

  29. Schroeder Family inspires me, I like they have a simple and pure goal of life. They care what they do and work very hard while are proud of what they have.

  30. Jennie and her family operate Schmidt Farms, Inc. and informed me about seeds they use.
    Thanks for the contest.

  31. gianna borden says:

my favorite family is the Boyd family, because not only are they in GA, and i love the state of GA, but they’re also active off of the farm, so their whole life isn’t just farming, etc.!

  32. gianna borden says:

well it is telling me to comment for the art party set, but that’s not what i am entering for, i’d love to win the visa gift card because it would help out my family. every little bit of $ helps!

  33. Jennifer Hiles says:

I like the The Haynie family. I think it’s nice that the farm has been passed down through several generations. They seem to really enjoy the work.

  34. Diaper money!

  35. Bernardita says:

I would love to buy new cookware.

  36. I want to win this gift card to put towards some new summer clothes.

  37. I would spend the card on groceries

  38. Melissa Marinho says:

I’d love to win this gift card so I can surprise my daughter with a special gift!!

  39. Melissa Marinho says:

It’s hard to pick a favorite family, they are all amazing with what they contribute to the world, but I think the Haynie Family is such an inspiration. I love that the farm dates back to 1867 and that it has been passed down through the family. It’s heartwarming to read that PJ feels in awe while on his tractor, thinking about his great grandfather working the same land with a mule and plow. The hard work it must have been! A big thanks to all these families and everything they do!!

  40. Would be a great win, just had shoulder Surgury and money has become very tight, like none!!!!!!
