I recently received some wonderful products from Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day® to try out in my home. I have seen these around in stores and I have been meaning to try them, but I wanted to finish up with the cleaning products I already had in my home before buying new. When Smiley 360 contacted me about trying them out, I was super excited to receive them!

Here is what I received to try out!

  • 16 oz Liquid Dish Soap
  • 12.5 oz Liquid Hand Soap
  • 16 oz counter top spray
  • Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Bucket

Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day® believes in a better way to get a good clean. Chock full of plant-derived ingredients and essential oils, their cleaning products are powerful against dirt and grime. Garden-fresh scents uplift your mood while adding a little spring to your step.

I was wondering how I’d like the basil collection, as I’d never used anything like this before. The scent is very cool and crisp smelling, and works very well when it comes to cleaning. I was rather impressed, in fact, my old cleaners have now moved to the back of the cabinets and have been replaced with Mrs. Meyer’s products! With Spring in the air, this definitely made my home feel and smell Spring-y after cleaning with them.

CounterTopSpray
I have granite counter tops, so I’m always trying to find a cleaning product to use on them that doesn’t leave a yucky film behind or streaking, and the counter top spray did a great job with no residue or film afterward. It didn’t streak either, and I like that it didn’t have an overwhelming chemical smell like my previous cleaner.

Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Basil Countertop Spray takes the basic formula of our All Purpose Cleaner and adds a special Vegetable Protein Extract, a naturally fresh way getting rid of kitchen messes and bathroom odors. Combines garden-fresh scent with plant-derived ingredients and natural essential oils. Great on all non-porous surfaces such as finished wood and tile floors, countertops, walls, porcelain, bathroom fixtures, sealed natural and synthetic stone, and more. Made in the USA.

DishSoap
The liquid dish soap did a great job at cleaning my dishes and cutting away the grease without any issues. I was expecting the product to be runny, but it wasn’t. It was thick, like a good quality soap. I didn’t need much at all to wash my dishes, which is great. This bottle will last me a long while without running out.

Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Basil Dish Soap is rich, thick and makes grease disappear like nobody’s business. This concentrated dish soap formula for hand washing dishes includes Soap Bark Extract, another ingredient from the garden that is one of nature’s best degreasers. The earth-friendly formula is biodegradable, made of plant-derived ingredients and rinses clean. All you need is a squirt or two and you’re on your way.

HandSoapThe hand soap is lovely for my hands, it doesn’t dry them out and makes them nice and soft. They also have a cool crisp clean smell from the basil scent which is just perfect to have by the kitchen sink.

Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Basil Liquid Hand Soap contains aloe vera gel, olive oil and a unique blend of natural essential oils to create a hard working, non-drying, yet softening Basil soap cleaner for busy hands. Hands have never had it so good. Paraben free. Made in the USA.

BucketI really love the look of this all purpose bucket! It holds 2.5 gallons of liquid, and is perfect to carry around when I’m cleaning the baseboards or cabinets off. I used some warm water with the liquid dish soap to clean off my baseboards and the faces of my cabinets while carrying this bucket around and it was the perfect size. Plus it’s super cute to boot!

Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day All Purpose Bucket holds up to 10 quarts of liquid. Made from water-proof galvanized tin with a flexible metal handle for cleaning jobs on the go–this handy wash bucket is just the thing when using our All Purpose Cleaner. Fill it up again and again with your favorite scent and dilute with water. Then roll up your shirt sleeves and get down to business.

I really loved all of the above products that I tried. I love knowing that the products I am using are safe for myself and my family, especially our two daughters. I can even have my 5 year old help me clean now, knowing that these products are safe. I love that they are paraben and phthalate free.

You can purchase the 16 oz counter top spray, 12.5 oz liquid hand soap, and 16 oz liquid dish soap all for $3.99 each. If you’re interested in purchasing the all purpose bucket, it’s $10.99. You can purchase their products on their website, or find a store near you.

  1. I too have granite counter tops. They always streak up after I clean them. I may have to try this cleanser. Basil sounds a bit odd. As long as it isn’t over powering I could live with it.

  2. This looks like a great try – thanks for sharing!

  3. These are very interesting products. I think we all should start looking for alternative cleaning products.

  4. Ii have used the Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day hand soap before and it does a nice job of cleaning your hands, but I have yet to find a scent that I like. Thank you for this review.

  5. I am going to check for this brand next time I go to the store. I like that it’s safe and concentrated. Bargain brands end up being mostly water and really aren’t a bargain.

  6. I was quite surprised at the cost of each of Mrs Meyers cleaning products. I expected them to be much higher. It’s good to know that there are cleaning products available that do the job they are supposed to do. I am tired of paying for a product that the company says will do a specific type of cleaning and it doesn’t even come close.
