  16. curiouskit10 says:

I just moved to my community and haven’t done much here yet, but we try hard to support local businesses with our shopping habits, as well as generally helpful things we wish everyone would do like recycle, pick up litter we pass, walk instead of drive when we can, and donate to our pet causes.

  17. I helped collect donations for those effected by the Joplin tornado, I also made a donation again this month as this is still an ongoing effort to rebuild homes.

  18. William W. says:

Helped a new family that moved into my community by giving food and supplies. Often leave gift cards at food businesses in envelopes at the register that says (to workers) “If a customer says ‘THANKS’ or ‘PLEASE’, give their kindness one of THESE” [I also give the managers and workers chocolate treats for their good service.]
I volunteer at community television where I live.

  19. Amy Moyer says:

I donate all my daughter’s clothing and toys to a woman’s shelter and also volunteer at our local library to help kids get involved with reading and crafts and computers. I love helping others, and it’s the smiles that count♡♡
