I recently had the chance to try out Oprah’s new Chai Tea made by Teavana. Now I have always been a tea drinker, more so than coffee. I love a good iced coffee, but I really love chai tea more than anything else on the planet. If you haven’t tried it, you definitely should. Chai tea is a bold infusion of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and cloves, blended with loose-leaf black tea and rooibos. It is a bit spicy, but so warm and comforting.

I took one of my good friends to Starbucks recently, to enjoy the new Chai Tea by Oprah and Teavana. Since she’s a mom, I figured it would be a great time to give her an early Mother’s Day gift, by taking her to Starbucks. We ordered the Oprah Chai Tea over ice, and it was amazing. It was sweet & creamy, yet spicy and full of flavor. It seemed everyone around us was ordering the same thing, so I knew it would be a hit. Our barista, Janine, said that it was a very popular item in store! My 5 year old even loved the taste of it and said it reminded her of Pumpkin Pie! Our Starbucks was so packed that they didn’t have anywhere to sit, so we took our drinks to go.

chai tea is one of my favorites 😉 and I also love the fact that you can purchase it and make it at home and relax and enjoy it.. great review and thanks for share

  2. I loooove warm chai tea. I don’t really like normal tea but chai is great! I can’t really picture it cold tho. I’ll have to try it. Although since it’s oprah it kinda turns me off. Does she really need a tea now too!?

I have never had chai tea and would love to try it, but I think tomorrow would be the wrong day to go. The place is going to be packed with all the bogo buyers. The fact it is Oprah kind of makes me not want to try this specific kind because I am so over her.

  4. I don’t like coffee. My drink of choice is Chai Tea. Yum!

  5. I am really picky when it comes to things to drink , no coffee, no milk, not many teas and so on. The colors in the review and the lid for the cup are great tho. thanks – didnt know Oprah had tea .

I have always LOVED Chai tea lattes at Starbucks, but this one sounds out of this world! It is also great because part of the money you spend goes to charity.

Chai Tea is my favorite and taste incredibly good hot or cold. Now I’m hoping my local Starbucks is still open so I can grab one for myself and my mom and help out a charity as well. Thanks for the review 🙂
