WhimsyWonderReview

We were recently contacted from JAKKS Pacific to review the new Whimsy & Wonder line that is available at Target and Target.com. We received the Deluxe Purple Dress, Tea Party Set, and the adorable Princess Pal Friend. My girls are age 2.5 and 5.5 so they are just now getting to the age that they are playing well together (MOST of the time), and I always encourage a lot of pretend play versus electronics. We have a lot of play food and dress up outfits in our home because I think it’s important for children to use their imaginations. This is why I was so excited to receive these fabulous new items from the Whimsy & Wonder line!

I remember back when I was around age 4 or 5, and one of my very favorite things to do when I was at my Grandma’s house, was having a tea party. My Grandma always set up a little table and chairs for me and she would sit at the table with me, and I’d use my little glass (yes glass) tea set. Now I wasn’t an only child, but my sister is 12 years older than me, so I never had to worry about an obnoxious (for lack of a better term) sibling to break all of my toys. Having two girls means we need something safe, and this Whimsy & Wonder tea set is just perfect. It’s very durable and won’t break, which is an important feature I look for when purchasing toys for my girls. My girls usually play very nice together with their little tea set, and there’s enough for two more of their little “friends” which usually is Princess Pal, and my 5 year old’s infamous Fluffy, the bunny.

My 5 year old loves the dress and the detail on it is just gorgeous. We are a big fan of purple since most princess dresses seem to be pink, so any chance we find one in a color besides pink, we snatch it right up. It fit her perfect and it’s very well made and durable as well. She has actually worn it out to the store a few times (yes I’m one of those Mom’s with the kid dressed up at the store…you have to pick your battles) and even the park, and it’s still as good as new. My 2 year old puts it on sometimes, but it’s too big for her. It’s perfect for the average 4-6 year old.

The Whimsy & Wonder Princess Pal is adorable with it’s removable tutu and is so soft and plush. She attends every tea party my girls have had, as well as joining us at the dinner table as well.

The Whimsy & Wonder line that is available at Target is something I recommend checking out. Their products are very affordable and durable. If you like imaginative play for your little one(s), then the tea set is a product I highly recommend. Your little will love it!

Buy it – You can purchase all of these items at Target. Deluxe Purple Dress – $19.99, Tea Party Set – $14.99, and Princess Pal Friend.
Everything in the Whimsy & Wonder line is affordable, with all of their toys being under $19.99.

So stinking cute. My daughter loves tea parties, so much that we took her to a local tea house, so she could “be in her element!”
