10Monkeys Math World Review – #sponsored

This is a sponsored review on behalf of 10Monkeys Math World. All opinions are those of our own and were not influenced in any way.

I’m always on the lookout for educational programs for my 5 year old. It seems everything these days are based on technology and while I do really encourage imaginative play, I do love educational programs such as 10Monkeys Math World. I love math and so does my husband, so we are hoping our girls love it too.

Practice Makes Perfect! Teach your children how to learn while have fun with this web based program. 10 Monkeys Math World is for kids in grades Kindergarten through 3rd grade. 10Monkeys Math World also has TONS of activities as well as a progress tracker. Since 10Monkeys is web based your child can use the program on desktops, laptops, iPad and Android tablets.

10Monkeys Math World is simple to set up. It will ask your your name and have you choose a profile upon using the program, you can also choose your country too, which is important. You don’t want to be using Euros if you’re in the US 🙂 Once you have done that, you will click on the first level option which is numbers 0-10, and you will have a screen popup where you can choose which activity you want (see image below).

I love how there’s a huge selection of ones that you can choose from. My 5 year old is not that advanced in math yet since she just started, so I like simple math problems with pictures for her as they are easy enough for her to figure out. Here’s an example of what I like for her to use, which of course there are more advanced math problems if your child is older or more advanced!

Once you complete a round, like this one has 10 questions, it will give you a score, and even a bonus if you get all the answers correct. You can then go back to where you started to pick a new math question to move on to. I sat down with my 5 year old to do a few of these, and she said she really loves this program. She likes the pictures of the monkeys, fruit, and the other graphics. She said it’s easy for her to see and determine what the answer is. While she can’t read, I do have to read the questions to her, but this is a program she really enjoys doing and she asks for me to “turn it on” for her after her younger sister goes to bed. I love that it gives us mommy daughter time too, and it helps me see how well she is learning and advancing when it comes to math.

10monkeys Math World is a comprehensive online tool, which help kids to enjoy and learn math more effective and faster while having fun! It contains thousands of online activities in over 200 different activity types to make test preparing and extra practice motivating and easy. It is extremely child-friendly, and its beautiful and intuitive user interface is one smooth operator. The virtual prizes, stars and scores motivate kids to learn.
