EricCarleGiveaway

Even though Earth Day has passed, it’s never too late to teach your children how to be environmentally friendly with Eric Carle. When I was a young child I remember growing up with Eric Carle books. My favorite was The Hungry Caterpillar, being 30 years old now, I still remember the book. It’s one of my favorites from my childhood. My girls, ages 2 and 5, LOVE The World of Eric Carle products. We have two boxes of the flash cards, several books, as well as the adorable butterfly toy above that my 2 year old loves hold every time we are reading an Eric Carle book.

EricCarleBookThe Tiny Seed is a book that we read often. It illustrates the story of a seed from start to finish. My girls love referring back to this book when we are on nature walks, at the park, or see new flowers growing. I love how they take the knowledge they learned from this book and apply it to real life. The pictures are beautifully illustrated and my girls can relate to the story very easily with little explanation.

The flash cards, hands down, are my favorite learning tool ever. In fact, my 5 year old actually learned her alphabet when she was 22 months old, by using the Animal Alphabet cards. We love them and use them with my youngest, who is 2 now. We also love the 1,2,3 to the Zoo flash cards as well. The latter are still a little advanced for her, but my 5 year old uses them now and has learned how to spell several words and has recognized a lot of them when out in public. These are a great learning tool, and your children will love them. They will associate trips to the zoo, pictures in books, among other things with them and they will learn SO much from these cards. I recommend both packs.

If you aren’t familiar with Eric Carle, you must familiarize yourself with him and his products. Your children (or grand children) will LOVE them! I promise, you will not be disappointed!
