Get That Shower Clean with Tilex Mold & Mildew Bathroom Cleaner

Tracking PixelI’m working with Tilex® on a paid basis, but my opinions are my own.

We all know cleaning the shower can be a tough job. There’s mold, mildew, soap scum, among other things. I hate getting down on my hands and knees and scrubbing away. It seems to take forever, and half the time I end up giving up and it’s never fully cleaned all the way. With two bathrooms, and a hubby that works full time, and two girls at home with me, along with blogging, sometimes chores get neglected. Don’t get me wrong, our house is clean, but a DEEP clean always needs to be done in our house. I always do a quick wipe down, but we all know that’s not enough in the bathroom.

Since we received Tilex®, it gets our showers and bathtubs clean with ease. There’s no more mold & mildew. I’m so embarrassed that our shower actually was like it was before I cleaned it with Tilex®. The above picture is so gross, and you can see all the nastiness of it. Tilex® Mold & Mildew made cleaning it, super easy. All I did was spray the shower down with the Tilex® and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Then I gave it a good scrub with the scrub brush (SCRUBBING IS NOT REQUIRED!), let it sit for a couple more minutes, and then one more scrub, and then I just rinsed it by turning on the shower for a couple minutes to rinse it away. It was that easy and took me all of 10 minutes! It probably should have taken less as with Tilex® Mold & Mildew, you don’t need to scrub it, just spray and let it sit. I wanted to make sure it got ALL of the mold & mildew, plus it makes me feel better, like it’s really clean if it requires a little elbow grease from me!

Did you know that 100% of the homes in America have mold & mildew? Don’t let those words scare you or think that it’s a dirty secret, everyone has some! It’s easy to spot mold in your home, look for black stains in your grout or red stains on your shower curtain. Yep, those are mold. Soap and detergents aren’t enough to kill mold, even though it may remove mold stains, but any mold left behind will go back very quickly. It only takes 48 hours to regrow, if it’s a moist, room temperature environment with an organic food source for it to feed on, it can grow fairly quickly. You definitely don’t want that it in the bathroom, that’s why you need to use Tilex® Mold & Mildew Remover.

Now you can see our NICE clean shower thanks very much to Tilex® Mold & Mildew!

Tilex® Mold & Mildew is my new go to cleaner for the bathroom, for our sinks, bathtubs, and showers. It’s a must have product to keep our bathrooms clean in our home. Everyone has their own dirty little secret, unfortunately ours was mold and I tackled that tonight and it took just 5-10 minutes!

What’s your dirty little secret???

This review is very enlightening to me.
For one I did not know that the red stuff was mold,I always
thought it was from red dye in shampoos and conditioners and stuff.

  2. This is a great product. Thank you for your review.

  3. Sarah Hayes says:

thankfully we dont have those issues but itd be nice to have this just to prevent it. im glad to hear it works so well and in such little time

  4. Kendra W. says:

The red stains are mold?! I had absolutely NO idea! Thank you so much, I honestly didn’t know and I just threw my shower curtain in the wash. I also had some hidden in a crevice and I got that cleaned up. How embarrassing!

  5. Terri S says:

Great post. Thank you for sharing. It was very informative.

  6. Sarah Elyce says:

I will have to try this. We use Clorox right now but I am a bit spoiled since he takes care of the bathroom cleaning for our house.

  7. I’ve tried this and it is a good product. The only problem that I have is that I’m very chemical sensitive. I have trouble breathing when I use any product with bleach.

  8. I HATE cleaning the bathroom, that is the worst job in my house. Only because I was using the wrong products. I will definitely buy the Tilex Mold and Mildew and hopefully it will make cleaning the bathroom not such a horrible job anymore for me. LOL

  9. Amy Orvin says:

I need something to use for mold and mildew on my bathroom tiles. I can’t seem to find anything that truly works. I will have to try Tilex.

  10. Lindsay Giedosh says:

Tilex is definitely one of the better cleansers out there for bathrooms in my opinion

  11. I need to try this!

  12. Sally T. says:

I would love to know if this cleans shower doors as I have a big
    problem with soap build up.

  13. Wendy Jabkowski says:

My least favorite chore is cleaning the showers! Tilex makes a great product though and really helps with soap stains.

  14. Even though we are in a very dry climate, somehow, there are a few spots in our shower that manage to grow mold. If I don’t stay on top of it, it grows like crazy! I’ll have to try tilex.

  15. M.Clark says:
