Seventh Generation Diapers and Wipes Review

SeventhGenDiapers

Last month we were sent Seventh Generation Diapers and Wipes to try out on our 2 year old. I’ve used Seventh Generation products in the past, but I actually hadn’t tried the diapers or wipes. I was excited to receive them and see what they were all about. I really try my best to use free and clear products around my children, so I was happy that Seventh Generation sent these to me to try. Toxins are every where and if there’s a way that I can lessen the amount of toxins my children are exposed to, I definitely try to do so.

7thGenerationSeventh Generation Free & Clear Baby Diapers are the first FSC® Certified Diaper made in the United States*.  I was surprised to hear that information!
This also means that Seventh Generation:

  • Encourage healthy forest growth and prohibit the harvest of rare old-growth forests.
  • Prevent loss of natural forest cover & prohibit highly hazardous chemicals from use.
  • Total transparency of completed forest management audits require public disclosure, even on private land.

When I opened the diapers, I was a bit surprised to see that they resembled a brown paper bag, NOT that that is a bad thing. I was just surprised! Most importantly they are soft, fit my 2 year old well, and they are comfortable. The biggest test for us was absorbancy. While they don’t work ALL night long for us (my child sleeps 12-14 hours, please don’t throw tomatoes), they are great for during the daytime and I really love using them.

I do like how the back of the diapers have the gathering, which keeps any messes contained and the diaper nice and snug on my toddler. They don’t smell like anything either, which is good because you know there’s no added toxins to give them that smell. The reason they are the tan/brown color is because Seventh Generation does not use any bleaching chemicals or whiteners on their diapers. All of that means there are no cutesy designs on them, but that’s okay because diapers are just covered up anyways! I highly recommend checking them out, because we loved them and will continue using them for our daytime diaper.

SeventhGenerationWipes

Seventh Generation Free & Clear Wipes are free of dyes, fragrance, parabens, phthalates and are hypoallergenic! I thought these were great, they did the job, and they were stronger than some other wipes I have used before. They also didn’t make my daughter break out, which is definitely a plus. They also have a super cute design on them! My 2 year old loves them!

If you’re wanting to be toxin free around the house and with your children, make sure you check out Seventh Generation products, especially their diapers and wipes!

I have heard of the Seventh Generation brand, I know that they make cleaning products, but I had no idea that they make diapers and wipes. I think it’s best to use products that are toxin free when you have children in the house. Thank you for sharing this great review.

I have used Seventh generation cleaning products, but had not realized that they also make diapers. I am sure that they are great to use, especially since they are also environmentally friendly.

I’m confused. Is it just my computer? Because the diapers look white, not brown like a paper bag… Anyway, thanks for sharing!

  6. If it works why not. I will buy generic products, for the most part are just as good as name brand.

  7. I like the seventh generation products. They work well and have fewer bad chemicals.

  8. Brigid OHara Koshko says:

WOW! These are awesome. Love that they are toxin free and the company is eco-friendly. I wish they were around when my kids were younger. I would definitely have purchased their products.

I did not even know that Seventh Generation sold diapers and wipes. I have bought their paper towels and cleaners for my house, but I think that these diapers and wipes would be great to use on baby because they are toxin free.
