MasterLock

It’s time for back to school, the Summer is coming to an end, which means back to school shopping. Do you know what you will be using to secure your children’s valuables in their locker? or to lock your child’s bicycle up while at school? I remember back in high school, we always used Master Lock to lock up our lockers. They were the most popular as they always were the ones that worked best and everyone loved to use, and of course they were reliable. Master Lock is the world’s largest manufacturer of padlocks and related security products, so of course they are the most popular choice.

Nearly half of North American parents admitted that their child has had an item stolen from them at school, with the most valuable being their cell phone.*

1500eDBX_White-HI-RES-204x300Master Lock has a variety of stylish, secure and customizable products to make students back-to-school savvy and ensure they don’t forget their combination. They offer a wide range of products and tools for student use including padlocks for school and gym lockers, laptop locks, backpack locks and an online website and mobile app for storing passwords and other important documents. I’m rather impressed with their newly released Speed Dial lock, which is the first padlock that opens on directional movements (up, down, left, right) instead of the traditional rotary dial.

Master Lock has definitely raised the bar when it comes to this new digital lock, the 1500eDBX dialSpeed. To ensure you or your child never loses their code again, there is a permanent Backup Master Code at masterlockvault.com, which is great, because I know when I was growing up, I lost my code all the time! The other cool thing about this high tech lock is it also allows for 3 additional guest combinations. I know if I was going to school and had this lock on my locker, everyone would be envious of such a cool lock!

We also received a super cool 5900D SafeSpace which is perfect to store your handheld devices such as a smart phone, as well as a passport, cash, or anything small that you may need to keep locked up while on vacation or even traveling abroad. It’s very lightweight and portable, and comes with a cable to wrap around a large object so no one can walk off with your Master Lock SafeSpace. This is such a great product and is perfect for our family. I will be taking this with us the next time we go on a cruise.

Hit the wrong button! Too bad there’s not a delete option!

Anyway, as I was trying to say, Master Lock is my favorite brand of lock, because they are so well built and they seem to last forever. This new Speed Dial lock looks so cool that I almost want to get one for me! Since it has three guest codes, it would be really handy for my tool shed. The only thing I’d be concerned about is what would happen if the face was somehow shattered. Otherwise, it looks like a really neat product! Thanks for sharing the Twitter party and Photo hunt info too
