Sprint Sound Sessions: HTC One® M8 Harman Kardon® Review #SprintMusic #SprintMom #Sponsored #MC

I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Sprint Sound Session. I received a sample of the HTC One to facilitate this review and a promotional item to thank me for participating.

Everything Mommyhood traveled to NYC a few weeks ago for a blogging conference and while there we received a special invite from Mom Central and Sprint to attend the Sprint NYC Sound Session featuring Grammy nominated artist and Season 2 Voice winner, Jermaine Paul. We also had the chance to check out the brand new HTC One® M8 Harman Kardon® edition as well. It was definitely one of the best memories we have from our trip to NYC. It was held at The Lambs Club just a few blocks from Times Square, and it was such a swanky space. We live tweeted the whole event with tweets and pictures using #SprintMom and #SprintMusic in case you want to check them out on Twitter.

While at this event, we received the new HTC One® M8 Harman Kardon® as well as a quick presentation on it and Spotify Premium. Now let’s face it, most of my readers are moms, and as moms, we are always on the go. Having my phone with me is as important as one of my kids, well maybe not quite, but you get the point. As a full time bloggers it’s very important for me to be able to stay connected where ever I am, and the HTC One® M8 Harman Kardon® allows me to do just that. Now while being connected and having a reliable smart phone, the second most important to me, is music. I am always playing music, whether I’m at home, in the car, and sometimes even at the park while I’m sitting on the bench watching my kiddos play.

HTCOneThe HTC One® M8 Harman Kardon® from Sprint, is hands down the best smart phone I have had my hands on. The device features a full 5-inch HD (1080p) screen, Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 801, 2.3GHz quad-core CPU, Duo Camera™ using the innovative HTC UltraPixel module and depth sensor, a dual flash, 1080p HD video recording, and Sprint Spark for blazing speeds and crystal-clear HD Voice performance. The phone also has front facing speakers which provide crystal clear sound that sounds absolutely amazing. The HTC One® also includes the Harmon Kardon AE-S headphones with extended bass response a $149 retail value. Now let me tell you, this phone REALLY puts out some amazing sound. Not only do I listen to Spotify on it, I also watch Netflix on it, and I LOVE that the speakers are front facing. It allows for better sound and just all around experience.

My next favorite feature of the HTC One® M8 Harman Kardon® from Sprint, is the camera. Holy moly, it takes the BEST pictures. VERY clear pictures that you’d be amazed at. I will tell you it put my Samsung Galaxy S4 to shame. My Galaxy S4 didn’t even compare to anything on this phone.

With Sprint’s new national entertainment platform, Sprint Sound Sessions, users have music available right at their fingertips with the ability to discover new music, read industry news, purchase or stream favorite songs, features live wallpaper, plus instant music recognition and discovery.

Some other great music features this new phone offers:

Spotify Premium service, free for three months or six months with Sprint’s Framily Plan. If you’re not familiar with Spotify, it’s a digital music service that gives you access to millions and millions of songs. You can create your own radio stations based on a favorite song or artist, or you can create your own playlists, using Spotify’s catalog. I have several different playlists to play depending on my mood.

Sprint Music Plus, this is Sprint’s official music store and player for music tracks, albums, ringtones and ringback tones.

Next Radio, a free FM radio app that lets you listen to your favorite local radio stations without using up your whole data plan.

The HTC One® M8 Harman Kardon® from Sprint is the phone you need to check out if you’re thinking about switching carriers or upgrading to a new phone. It’s the BEST phone out there in my opinion! Make sure you check it out!

Check out me meeting Jermaine Paul!

  1. The HTC One sounds like a great phone, I really like the Next Radio app. It’s great that you can watch Netflix on it, but would you really watch movies or TV on such a small screen? Thank you for sharing this review.

  2. Kelly Faber says:

Reading this just makes me realize what a crappy phone I have and I just bought a new one!! Watching a movie or a show would be great on the go, but I wouldn’t use the phone for that feature often!

  3. It’s amazing how much a small phone can do. They’re always updating and adding features.
