#BeautyIs with Dove and Walgreens – #Sponsored

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Global Influence. All opinions are those of our own.

These days I see so much bullying and hatred in the world, just today I was reading on a celebrity news site today the comments people were making. It truly made me sad. I don’t understand how so many people in the world can call others so many names and try to bring down a person they don’t even know. That’s why I thought it was important to share this new contest with all of you from Dove and Walgreens. What does beauty mean to me? #BeautyIs being natural and adding just a touch of makeup to accent your best features!

Dove and Walgreens have come together for this contest #BeautyIs! Almost everyone has an Instagram or Twitter account, so head on over to your account and upload a picture with the hashtag #BeautyIs. You can see mine below.

I invite you to build up your self-esteem and submit a photo of yourself or you and someone close to you!
Choose one of the following-

• A self-portrait that captures your natural beauty
• A picture that shows you sharing a positive moment with someone else
• An image that shows you giving back
• A picture that portrays your overall personality
Visit HERE to see what other women are sharing!
One way Dove and Walgreens is through a popular form of sharing on social media. Selfies. Everyone with a camera phone is doing it, but the motivation behind posting a selfie is usually self-serving. Walgreens and Dove want to encourage women and girls to use their selfies for good and show what #BeautyIs, means to them!!
What does beauty mean to you? I’d love to see your picture, so if you post, feel free to tag me in it!

  1. Kasie Tillman says:

I love that Dove is doing this. It’s a great idea. They also have great products. I’ve been using their antiperspirant for years (they make a great unscented one) and their shampoo. Great prices too!

  2. Renee Smith says:

I agree there is way too much hate and name calling. I don’t know why, but social media seems to give done people the idea they can say whatever they please with no thought of how it could hurt or harm someone. I love that Dove is trying to make a difference for or girls!

  3. There is way too much name calling these days. Good luck to everyone.

  4. Kelly Faber says:

I love what image Dove stands behind! 🙂 What great movement and post….there is way too much bullying these days and it sadly, affects so many children in so many negative ways. 🙁

  5. I use and love the products. I personally have several issues with their advertising. I’ll just leave it at that and hope that women will see it for themselves.

  6. This is a great idea. I hope there is a great response to this. Dove products have always been so gentle on the skin and I love Walgreens. Thank you for sharing

  7. Dove has done a good job of promoting that notion that beauty does not mean you have to look like a model, I hope they keep it up. Thank you for sharing this post.

  8. I love that dove uses regular women in their commercials and not skinny models! regular, every day women like us moms are beautiful! kids should learn that… 🙂 nice pic of u

  9. I love Dove’s Beauty campaign. Thank you for sharing.

  10. I love this. Such a great idea. I think too many people especially the younger generation is more focused on fitting a certain profile and fitting in to others ideas of beauty. I have always felt everyone is beautiful in their own way and should really just work with what they have.

  11. Dove is the only bath wash my Son can use. He literally breaks out in a severe rash when using anything else. When they say gentle, this stuff is gentle.
