Do you ever get that shooting pain when you drink or eat something cold or hot? Sometimes it’s so painful for me that I immediately grab my mouth, and half the time I avoid foods like ice cream or popsicles that seem to really bother my teeth. Come to find out, this is a very common problem with others, and I’m not alone, which means you’re not either. It’s known as tooth sensitivity. I have found my tooth sensitivity has become worse with age, as I never had this growing up. I really love ice cream and usually shy away from it just because of my tooth sensitivity, so I was so super excited to find out that I would be testing out the new Crest SensiStop Strips!

The best part about these new Crest SensiStop Strips is that it’s not a paste you have to brush with daily, it’s in a strip form and only takes 10 minutes to apply, which will last up to ONE month of protection! They are so easy to apply. Once you know the round about area where your tooth sensitivity bothers you the most, apply the small strip to the area, leave on for 10 minutes, and once you take it off, don’t brush/eat/drink for at least 30 minutes.

How to Use Crest Sensi-Stop Strips:
Up to one month of protection in 3 easy steps:

Step 1: Find It: Identify exactly where you feel the “zing”

Step 2: Stick It: Place 50% of the strip over the gum and 50% over the tooth

Step 3: Relieve It: In 10 minutes remove the strip. Relief lasts up to 1 month

Upon using these, which they really were so easy to use in the 3 steps mentioned above, I took the true test and finally bought some ice cream to test the new product, Crest SensiStop Strips out. I can FINALLY eat ice cream again with no pain!!! This is a good and a bad thing…good because now I can sulk over a pint of ice cream when I’m stressed, and of course, bad for my waist line. It’s been about 4 days since I last used a SensiStrip, and I’m still able to enjoy my ice cream without any more shooting pains!
This is a product I will be screaming about from the roof tops! I will have a follow up post in about 1 month to let you know my results, so stay tuned!
