LetsImagineElmo
A few weeks ago we hosted a Playskool Party featuring Let’s Imagine Elmo. We had a couple of other great toys to play with too, that I will tell you about! My kids and I belong to an amazing playgroup here in Mississippi, so we had the opportunity of inviting our little friends over to play! We had 6 toddlers ranging from age 22 months to 3.5 years old, and let me tell you, THEY WERE EXCITED!!! Not only were they excited, but they were all so well behaved while in our home! It brings such joy to see all of our children happily playing together and just being kids!

Upon arrival of our guests, we had all of the goodies set out, and of course a spread of food since we were hosting a lunch play date.

PlayskoolPartyNote to self: Next time, toys will be removed from packaging prior to guests arrival.

First off our guests were totally excited about their hats that matched Let’s Imagine Elmo, so of course we had to wear them!

Now I’m sure you’re asking what to do the hats have to do with Let’s Imagine Elmo? Let’s Imagine Elmo is a 13 inch plush Elmo that comes with 3 different interchangeable hats that makes Elmo turn into a Prince, Cowboy, and Sea Captain!

LetsImagineElmo_HatsPlace the crown on Elmo’s head to play a game of “Prince Elmo Says,” pop on the cowboy hat to learn about numbers in the “Countin’ Cowboy” game, or put on the sea captain hat for a fun “Sounds of the Sea” game.  Kids can also tickle his belly, squeeze his nose, or bounce him for a fun reaction which all of the kids loved to do!

LetsImagineElmo_Play
As you can see they LOVED playing with Let’s Imagine Elmo, a lot of them were very unsure about Elmo at first because he talks. “Z” on the left loves changing out Let’s Imagine Elmo’s different hats. It’s like a new personality with each different hat! Top right, Olivia is showing Baby “G” Let’s Imagine Elmo, and he’s amazed by all that Elmo says and loves Elmo’s Cowboy Hat and accent! You can see the bottom right, my daughter Olivia, shoving her hand in his mouth while he was talking.

Check out sweet “Z” playing with Elmo and Baby “G” coming over to check it out!

The next toy we played with was the Playskool Stack ‘n Spin Monkey Gears Toy. I would have to say HANDS DOWN this is a must have from Santa this year. StackNSpinMonkey You can change the gears around, press the button in the middle and everything turns and turns. You can stack the gears or leave them single. They also light up to catch baby/toddler’s attention. The packaging states that this toy is for 9 months and up, but I will tell you even my 6 year old loved playing with this. This helps babies/toddlers with their motor skills! This toy will be a favorite for your children for years to come!

Check out my Olivia playing with it in the video below, don’t mind the fact at the end she doesn’t want to share. No one had the chance to play with this except for her at the party. Good thing all of our guests received one to take home!

Next our kiddos played with the Transformers Mixable, Mashable Heroes Optimus Prime and Grimlock toy.

I will say this was the least favorite toy, and I really think it was because of the age group. While the age recommendation for this toy is 2+, I really think it should be 5+. This toy has a ton of pieces and is too difficult for a 2 year old to put together. Although, it’s very cute and I love the concept of it!

Transformers Toy
One of the moms in attendance said her 8 year old son LOVED playing with the Transformers Mixable, Mashable Heroes Optimus Prime and Grimlock toy.

That's cute. It looks like the kids really had fun. Did they eat the vegetables? Mine wouldn't touch them when they were that young.

Yes actually, I think all of our kids LOVE vegetables. It's like pulling teeth to get my kids to eat anything besides veggies and fruit!
