Alpha-Bits Christmas Trail Mix – Perfect for Preschoolers!

This is a sponsored post written in conjunction with Post Alpha-Bits Cereal and a campaign for Sverve. Regardless, all opinions expressed are still 100% my own.

I know what you’re thinking, Christmas already?? Well it’s less than 2 months away so it’s time to start planning! As a mom you know you have a lot of planning to do, from presents to who’s coming to your house, to where you’re going for the Holidays. What about presents for your child’s classmates? We have you covered with that, and this is absolutely PERFECT and fun! (Please note this recipe contains nuts, if there’s a children with a tree nut allergy, omit cashews from this recipe) This recipe is very versatile as well, so if you don’t like raisins, you could substitute dried cranberries or any other dried fruit!

1 cup of Post Alpha-Bits Cereal
1/2 cup of Chocolate Candies
1/2 cup of Raisins (or any other dried fruit)
1/2 cup of Cashews (or any other nut you like)

Just pour everything into a large bowl and mix it up!

I like to place mine in canning jars to keep them fresh. My kids can just grab a jar and sit down and have a snack with no effort! If you want to make these for little presents for a playgroup or preschool class, you can hot glue some ribbon around the top of the jar and place a bow with a name tag too.

It’s that simple!

Now let me tell you a bit about Alpha-Bits from Post cereal!

-Is an excellent source of vitamin D.

-Added nutrients like iron and zinc help support healthy brain development.

-Provides 20g of whole grain (per 30g serving).

-Provides 12 essential vitamins and minerals that growing kids need!

As a mom we know how important it is to get our children to eat healthy and nutritious foods, with Alpha-Bits they can have fun with their food and get all of the vitamins and minerals that they need. That’s a relief for us as moms!
