As a full-time blogger and a full-time mom, I’m always busy and almost always on the go. Unfortunately for me, that means I always need to be connected to social media to stay on top of my blog and posts on social media. Checking on my phone isn’t always an option and sometimes it’s not always important. Having the Martian Notifier right on my wrist has been a definite life saver!

The Martian Notifier isn’t just a watch, you connect it with an app on your smartphone and you will automatically receive notifications right on your wrist — including Caller ID, texts, Facebook, Twitter, Weather, Email, Calendar, Instagram, Pinterest, favorite games, bank alerts, fitness stats, and any other alert your device allows. Anything that your phone or tablet does, this watch can do too!

Upon taking it out of the box I was rather impressed with the look and quality of the watch itself. It has a comfortable silicone band with several notches to fit a small or large wrist. It fits myself well (I have a larger wrist for a woman) and it fits my husband well too. While I do think the face itself is a bit big for a woman’s watch, I still think it’s a great piece and it doesn’t look bad.

It was rather easy to connect to the app on my Samsung Galaxy S4 and set everything up. You will literally get notifications from 1000s of apps! You set which ones up you want to notify you. For me Text Messages, Gmail, Facebook, and Twitter are at the top of my list, but there are MANY you can choose from to receive notifications from.

It’s also easy to connect via USB to your laptop or computer to charge the watch, which the battery lasts up to 6 days! The analog watch battery will last for a few years! The door to the USB plug was easy to open, but sealed well once closed. The red light indicates that you’re plugged in and charging.

Once you’re all charged up, you’re ready to go and show off your new watch! This is an amazing piece of technology that your friends will want to purchase too!

  1. I like Micro USB port for recharging and firmware updates & analog quartz watch with accurate movement my favorite one was the Martian Notifier White thats one sexy watch. My husband would be the happiest man in the world if he saw that under the tree this year. He collects watches

  2. I love the look of the Watch and I also love that the actual battery will last as long as 2 years. I like that it can be charged through your computer or an outlet. Also, that just by wearing this watch, you can be updated with the “internet” world right on your wrist! You can also receive and send calls through this watch! I think this watch does everything except make dinner! I love that the face is somewhat large! I love large faced watches (they are much easier to read!) This would be a terrific Birthday or Christmas gift for my daughter, Amanda! She’s always losing her cell phone and the kids generally have it somewhere. She’s always on the run, taking Nolan to pre-school, shopping, doing her hairdressing, etc. etc. This would be absolutely perfect for her and I know she will love it! Her birthday is December 27th! I’m not 100% sure yet if Chuck (her husband) can get a leave from the Army to come home for Christmas or not yet. Also, he has to be back and report in on January 3rd for Army Ranger classes. I know that both of them could definitely use one of these watches! But, I’m thinking more my daughter because the kids always end up with her phone to play on! Thanks so much for this wonderful giveaway! I truly honestly appreciate it! Michele 🙂

I love all the features especially that you can remote control taking pictures with your smartphone.

  4. Love the shelf life on the battery and that it is re-chargeable. I always find myself throwing away my watch b/c I would rather buy a new one than try to change the battery!

  5. Nicole Clawson says:

I love how many devices it is compatible with

  6. I like the Bluetooth 4.0 Wireless Technology (classic and low energy)

  7. wow…you can customize the alert vibrations to the type of message you are receiving.

  8. Arik Issan says:

    all good, photo remotes etc

  9. Kasie Tillman says:

I like that you can check your SMS notifications from your cellphone. Very cool!!!

  10. It’s amazing that a time piece can do so many things. It’s a bit large for me. I have a very tiny wrist.

  11. I like the style of it and I like that it has a Micro USB port for recharging and firmware updates.

  12. Marilyn Nawara says:

I like that you can send and receive calls — this is great. The price of $129 is very affordable for everything it does.

  13. Marnie G (Derrick Todd) says:

There are so many things I really like about this watch. My husband NEEDS this. I really like that you can set individual and customized notifications. I also think that it is so neat that you can check text notifications from your phone. This is amazing!

  14. jessamine41 says:

I like that it can receive notifications on facebook, twitter, and a lot more apps. 🙂

  15. What isnt there not to like?! I like that you can view notifications including Caller ID, SMS, e-mails, social media, fitness stats, sports scores, news headlines, and any other alert your smartphone allows. I hear beeps all the time on my phone…i rush to look and its a push notification from a game that my husband downloaded….its so annoying. It would be nice for that to be eliminated lol

  16. Very nice watches. This would make a great gift for my dad. My favorite is the Martian Notifier White. My favorite feature is the voice command.

  17. I actually love the anti-scratch face. I seem to always scratch my watches and this would be a big plus.

  18. Love that it has bluetooth, can get emails alerts, scratch resistant, and voice command ability.

  19. sherri crawford says:

it has a built iin rechargable battery

  20. Melissa Teears says:

I lovery the fact that your phone could be in your purse and you will still be synced up.

  21. I like the long battery life, 5 days of use time is a lot!

  22. katie smith says:

Wow that is different I have never seen, or heard of a watch that works with apps! So much for watches being just for time. I love the idea and it can be recharged by plugging it IN WOW mind blowed!
