Silpat Review & Giveaway – ends 11/29 #MPMHGG

Everything Mommyhood received the items mentioned below in exchange for our honest opinion. All thoughts are those of our own and may differ from those of your own.

Once again this is another fabulous review & giveaway from the Mom Powered Media Holiday Gift Guide, and I’m so honored to be a part of it!

I just recently started getting into baking. I’ve always loved to cook, but for some reason baking has always scared me a bit. I’m not sure why because if you do perfect measurements and perfecting temps/times everything comes out just fabulous. My biggest pet peeve about baking is the mess. The mess on my counters, cookie sheets, etc. With SILPAT, all of this is a thing of the past! I LOVE all 3 of my SILPAT sheets.

Silpat® Non-Stick Baking Mats are made of fiberglass and food grade silicone. Silpat® products are completely food safe. Silpat products are FDA, NSF® and Kosher certified.

SILPAT has been around for almost 50 years!

My favorite is the Roulpat. It keeps my counter tops clean and provides a large workspace for me to make a mess! I used it just today when I was working on a recipe for another post I’ll be doing (keep an eye out)! Nothing sticks to it, and it’s easy to clean, no mess and no slipping around while you’re trying to work!

Roul’Pat® is a non-stick countertop workstation mat. This silicone mat is similar in design to a SILPAT®, but it has a specially formulated backside design, which prevents it from slipping or moving around on countertops and work surfaces.

Roul’Pat® is ideal for rolling and kneading dough. It is perfect for working with sugar art, chocolate, fondant, caramel and candy. Clean up is a snap.

Roul’Pat® can also be a work surface mat for craft projects. Since nothing sticks to it, Roul’Pat® is great for use with glue, permanent markers and other messy craft projects.

Next is the Silpain®, which is a non stick baking mat for bread. I’ll be totally honest here. I’ve never baked any type of bread besides refrigerated rolls, so I’m excited to use this and try it out. It seems absolutely perfect for pizza, bread, rolls, crusts, and more!

Silpain® is a non-stick baking mat for breads. Dough contains about 60-80% of water. When baking with dough it is important to use a Silpain® because of its perforated qualities. The water seeps through the mat, leaving a perfect crusty finish. Use this for your homemade biscuits, pizza and bread.

The last item I received was the Silpat®, which is the original non stick baking mat! I’m excited to use this instead of parchment paper for when I bake cookies for the holidays! It’s a lovely product!

Silpat® is designed for every type of oven. From savory to pastry baking, Silpat® will provide even heat transfer to your baked goods.

Now for the giveaway!
One lucky reader will win one of each mat as pictured above, approx $110 Value.

  1. Thank you again for the Terrific Review on the Silpat! I love to bake much more than cook! I don’t like the mess that it leaves to clean up all the time, however, I have become used to it. These 3 products that you received for your review you seem to really like. That’s terrific! As long as it works to keep the mess on the mat and off of your table or counter tops, that’s a Great thing! Thanks again for the Terrific Review and all the information you provided us with on the 3 different type of Silpat mats which you received! I truly do appreciate it! Thanks again, Michele 🙂

I have never tried any of these, I have always wanted to. Some of my friends have told me about them. However this is one of those things that I have never spent the money on for myself. I would love to try the Silpat cooking someday. Yes I burn cookies when baking mine our not as good as my mom’s wish they were. The oven I have I have to remember to turn during baking or they burn and errrrr most times forget that. So…. the fact is Burnt cookies is the result most times.
