As a product reviewer I come in to contact with a lot of great products, and let me tell you TULA has been one of them. When I had the chance to work with TULA in a 30 day challenge of their Probiotic Technology based skincare line, I figured it couldn’t hurt. I’ll be 31 years old in a week and unfortunately I’ve noticed areas of my skin are starting to show it’s age. I knew I had nothing to lose when they asked me to try out the #TULAForLife 30 Day Skincare Challenge!

With Winter quickly approaching, I will tell you my skin completely changes. During the Summer it’s oily and dry, and going into Fall and Winter, my skin just becomes so dry, and flaky, and dull looking. I knew I needed something, especially with little lines starting to form on my forehead and other places, finally showing my age. Now my biggest pet peeve about skincare products is them making my skin feel oily, or like the product isn’t being absorbed all the way and I have to wipe off excess, even though I didn’t use much in the first place. All of that changed for me when I started using TULA.
Tula is the Sanskrit word for balance. The concept of the line is that we need to take care of our insides to look good on the outside; and that feeling beautiful on the outside can improve how we feel on the inside.  The line specifically incorporates a patented Probiotic Technology, which is quite unusual in skin care products. Recent studies have showed that the topical use of probiotics stimulates skin’s protective mechanism, improves moisture and the balance of the “good” bacteria on the skin’s surface, guards against acne and UV-induced damage and boosts skin’s elasticity and collagen production.
TULA has the most complete line of facial care products that I have seen in a long time, and that is really saying something! The TULA skin care regime consists of a Purifying Face Cleanser, Illuminating Face Serum, Revitalizing Eye Cream, and Hydrating Day and Night Cream. All of the products have a very very light smell to them and are very subtle.
I’d like to tell you about each of the products in the total skin care regimen and what I liked best.
Keep in mind, these products do not contain mineral oil, phthalates, petroleum, PEG’s, gluten, or parabens!

TulaCleanser
First off I started off with the TULA Skincare Purifying Face Cleanser. I just wet my face with warm water and used a nickel size amount in the palm of my hand. I washed my face all over in a circular motion for about 45 seconds concentrating on problem areas like my nose and forehead. It wasn’t overly foamy or anything, but you could tell it was working and cleaning away.  I love the cleanser, as it has just a slight pleasant smell to it. Nothing overpowering and it left my face feeling clean and refreshed, but not dry or dehydrated like other cleansers out there! I was rather impressed with step 1 of the TULA Skin Care line.

TulaSerum

Next I used the TULA Illuminating Face Serum which is, hands down, my favorite. It REALLY made my skin feel so soft and refreshed after applying this, after using the Purifying Face Cleanser. At first I was afraid of the word serum and it possibly leaving my face feeling oily, but that really was not the case with this. It left my skin feeling very soft and supple with no oily residue at all. Step 2 of this line is definitely my favorite.

TulaEyeCream
After the Purifying Face Cleanser and the Illuminating Face Serum came the Revitalizing Eye Cream. This is great for those stubborn crows feet, under eye baggage or discoloring, and just to moisturize them in general. It made my tired mom eyes, not look so tired anymore! It’s easy to put on and a little bit goes a long way.

TulaHydrating

Lastly, I used the Hydrating Day & Night Cream. This is a bit heavier than the serum, but it still absorbs right away into your skin without making your skin feel heavy, oily, or greasy. It really makes your skin feel great and well nourished.

Here are the top reasons why I LOVE the TULA Skin Care Line:
My skin is soft and supple, I find myself feeling my skin often because it feels wonderful!
My skin looks more radiant and healthy.
Fine lines have been reduced.
Area around my eyes looks healthier and brighter.

All in all, I think the 4 piece set is a must for maximum results. After using it all for 30 days, I’m rather impressed. I even have more left in each container, so it definitely lasts well past the 30 days. For the price that’s great! Also if you’re not wanting to spend full price for each set, you can buy a sample set and try it out! I give the TULA Skin Care line 5 out of 5 stars. I really have no complaints or anything I’d change about any of it.
