When I turned 30, I had my doctor do blood work for a check up to check my levels in my blood such as cholesterol, and my thyroid too. Everything came back pretty good except my cholesterol was right on the line. My doctor recommended I stop eating fried foods and to up my intake of Omega-3s. Only problem is, I’m not a fish eater. I just don’t care for it all that much, so I knew I needed to take a supplement. I rushed our right away and purchase Omega-3 Fish Oil except every time I took it I would burp up fish smell, it was so embarrassing. Ever since then I have been on the lookout for one that doesn’t have that.

Dr. Tobias has the #1 Selling Omega-3 Fish Oil on Amazon! Omega-3 fatty acids are key for normal development and growth. Lack of dietary intake of omega-3 fatty acids and too much intake of omega-6 fatty acids is believed to be a significant contributing factor to many diseases, like high cholesterol. Since the human body cannot make omega-3 fatty acids, we have to get them from our diet. Omega-3 supplements have become one of the most popular supplements in the U.S. They’re used to help prevent and treat a number of serious diseases, try them and you just may start feeling different and your health may improve!

Dr. Tobias’ Omega-3 Fish oils takes things a step further with it’s special formulate enteric coating. Why is this important?

Enteric coating provides two important services:
a) It steps up your body’s ability to absorb the essential fatty acids and
b) It prevents the fishy aftertaste and burping that everyone associates with fish oil. Fish burps are considered the no. 1 reason for quitting on omega 3 fish oil! There’s nothing worse than fishy burps!
The only downside I have found is fish oil capsules are all large, and most of them are hard for me to swallow. I don’t know if it’s because of the enteric coating, but these are easier to get down than others I have tried in the past. I definitely recommend them.
A study published in the New England Journal of Medicine, in fact, showed that when fish oil was enteric coated patients only needed one-third as much. That’s because the enteric coating safely delivered omega-3 intact to the intestines and absorbed into the phospholipid membrane instead of being ravaged by stomach acid. The fact that the capsules traveled so far into the body’s system also meant no fishy burping.

The brand which I’ve been taking says “no fish burps” on their label! I can honestly say that I have never had a fish burp even once! I am another one that is not a fan of seafood! I have tried it several times and just do not like the taste! I see my doctor every 3-4 months for my diabetes and get a blood test every 6-7 months.
